Yes, paying down the debts would reduce the interest owed on the debts but there is a cost to doing so.

It's not always advantageous for businesses to aggressively pay down debts and debt purists appear to find this a difficult concept to understand because only 0% debt and £0 debt will ever be satisfactory in their view.

The flaw with this assumption is CPI may not be afforded the privilege of being able to borrow because of awful timing here what with UK in recession and CPI having such poor business fundamentals... it relies on a lender buying into the AI growth narrative, at a time when many other desperate businesses will be peddling the same narrative to attract such lenders.

I think it's probable CPI finds it cannot raise the finance essential for maintaining liquidity, and so there's huge risk of it going insolvent more quickly than many might imagine were possible.

I've disclosed many times on here I don't short trade, as I'm not experienced enough to have the confidence with shorting stocks. I just have a standard HL Fund & Share acct which I opened Dec 2022 after watching reading up and learning about markets over a number of yrs I finally took the plunge...

Since then I've booked healthy profits on every stock I've purchased and gone on to wholly sell off.

I'm just a typical working class person, not a big shot Investor like JO has claimed to be. I came here onto this discussion board looking for an investment stock many moons ago now, I challenged some on here when I saw financials that alarmed me and from the responses to my questions it only made me more curious and more worried about the state of CPI so I stayed clear.

What made me stay on this board, delving into more of CPI's financials all the time, was the vitriol + nasty prose some folk on here directed at me and it only made me more determined to keep on shining a spotlight onto CPI's financials.

I think it's outrageous some on here are still ramping CPI on their dreamy speculative hypotheticals. The reality is CPI has deep rot.

Well it's usually the case successful businesses winning contracts tend not to get wound up (voluntary or compulsory) and would usually just switch company name together with issuing new branding & comms...

It's clear there have been legal proceedings chasing liability of £100k, also overdue accounts atop... sure, there is agreement on voluntarily winding up the Ltd business but the signs all point towards losses for the parent Company Group (admitted within official companies documents filed for public viewing)...

I'm sure AH is indeed having a Merry Christmas... shareholders and Employees on the other hand look set for a difficult 2025... Crappy New Year?! 🥳 🎉

Seems fairly habitual to me... JO overpaying that is... just like the investments JO has made into CPI which will soon be next to worthless. Roll on the next results, these last ones were bad and the next ones highly likely to be even worse still! 🤣
