2025 is going to be a disaster for CPI & nothing I have posted has been false, I've quoted CPI's own officially published information.

The CPI TU stated:

"Looking forward, we have opportunities which deliver AI solutions with the hyperscalers worth more than £5bn within the pipeline."

Words which I take literally.

Are you saying that CPI meant something different to the above?

Trenners, then why didn't you care to explain the difference? Instead you shouted me down as posting misinformation whereas now you appear to agree that CPI did indeed say in their TU there's £5bn in the pipeline.

Which I am saying is complete nonsense by AH and the board... there is not £5bn in the pipeline coming CPI's way and the market appears to agree with my take because if there was £5bn on the way for CPI there's no way the stock would be tanking.

JG68 - the problem here is once again you're fixated on conspiracy theories, rather than focusing on the literal facts I.e. the CPI fiscal facts...

I've never worked for CPI or CPI competitors either. I'm just a working class small time investor looking for companies to invest into. I don't short as I can't take the risks. It really is as simple as that, and when others on here launched a tirade of vitriol at me, because I called them out, I became even more determined to prove a point - as CPI is in major trouble.

I've always been clear/transparent on here for all to see.

CPI, AH and the board, signed off on a shifty trading update. As a result the stock is being punished by the markets but I think there's far worse coming here for CPI yet.

They stated £5bn in the pipeline - utter nonsense.

They stated flat revenues for 2025 - more nonsense.

They stated priority "is improving the operating margin of the Group, which in turn will deliver free cash flow"... except pursuit of such unsustainably high margins is in fact directly responsible for plummeting sales volumes - so it's more nonsense.

AH has the Right strategy but... it is for the Wrong time..

CPI is definitely going to be forced into a cash raising exercise, and far more imminently than many on here might realise too.

DYOR - All IMO and as before I hold no position here in CPI I'm simply sharing my take on this junk stock.

CPI saying £5bn for itself... when whole UK AI market set to be worth just $17.02bn dollars by 2030 is just a ridiculous statement for CPI to have included in the latest trading update.

Such a blatantly misleading trading update from CPI and IMO undermines credibility for AH and the board at a time when they're just not delivering on the business performance side either.

AimMaster2018 - agree... it has all been centred on 'IF' CPI deliver and the problem with that is CPI have the wrong business strategy for the era they're now operating within.

CPI busy chasing high margins from fewer sales, meaning they're putting in lots of energy to try to tender for work... most of which they're v.unlikely to be awarded.

So the business is working really hard to win one's & two's - in the process demoralising the sales team (who will keep losing tender after tender; with only a rare victory) and all the meanwhile CPI's competitors are ahead as they spotted the trend for sharp margins and adjusted their strategy to take the lions share of the work (as seemingly CPI just isn't interested in winning that work)!

CPI being uncompetitive currently also means it can't adjust to target slightly lower margins (this must be the case as else AH would have already taken action to amend the strategy in reaction to the low sales volumes but seemingly cannot do so).

There's lots of speculation on the futures for CPI... £5bn AI benefits in the pipeline according to the recent update. However, I don't think CPI will ever get there to the promised land as instead a cash call is likely and some investors who have bought into the turnaround narrative are going to be getting a big shock 😬

In a nutshell CPI is now locked into fewer sales (we know this to be true from results), yes the sales it makes are profitable but... there are just far too few of them to keep the lights on and the wheels turning for CPI.

I reckon mid-Jan as the earlier the board take the action the better for the business long term.

Tenners, I've already explained I don't short stocks. I don't have a financial interest in CPI and I never have and that's because I considered investing into CPI and determined it's completely rotten to the core.

Agree AimMaster2018... AH & the board will have to commence some kind of cash raising exercise imminently in the New Year weeks ahead.

Most pressing matter for CPI & AH is by Dec 31st we know CPI will have a weak cash in hand situation...

Stock sell off has driven SP to just 13.8p... 2yr & 5yr UK bonds are back above 4.4% with no prospect of a rate cut coming for February (IMO due to deeply embedded services sector inflation - a permanently post brexit consequence). Taking out more debt doesn't appear a viable option for CPI; so before March RNS for the Yr end results can even be landed it looks highly likely CPI will have to have an intervention to boost the coffers.

Now precisely which route AH and the board opt for is a complete unknown but... its as near to a certainty as it can get that a pot of cash is essential for continued operations. All IMO - DYOR
