I bought 1m earlier at 0.86. Fortunately I had only committed 0.25% of my portfolio here so I can top up. Thankfully I followed my own rules and had not let greed get the better of me. Winx appears dead but RMP isn't so hopefully a future spike will happen. GLA

IMHO the sp had already sufficiently discounted the financing when it fell from high 30's to to 25p. The fall thereafter is not justified. I bought back in as a long term hold with a B/E around 22p and am very happy. Those buying at current prices should be well rewarded on a buy and hold basis irrespective of short term sp fluctuations.This is no longer a PI company. It is a FTSE250 stock with subject to rigorous institutional research.

I think that it comes down to having a number of Aim shares in play and never buying everything in one go. I never invest more than a total of 2% of my total portfolio in one share. I dislike placing more than 1% in a single aim stock. I treat it as a game and accept that I can sometimes be seriously underwater. A trough then is a buying opportunity. I will often have a core but trade frequently. But at times when the Sp is simply going steadily down it is pretty tough.

Some of the posters here need to remember that you only make a loss or a sale when you sell and that patience is a virtue. If you have gambled expecting a 100% instant return then DOH! If you have invested and are prepared to hold for a while then you may be richly rewarded. This company still lacks a proper balance sheet with proper cashflow and profits forecasts that serious investors need prior to parting with their cash. If you believe that these will be forthcoming then enjoy the ride. Why do you think that numbers are slow to be released yet SS is buying things up?! Any thoughts that perhaps he knows that those assets will be more expensive once those figures are public? But there again I guess it doesn’t help those who have gambled and need to get out NOW! It just goes to show that you don’t need a brain to gamble but seriously , some here should stick to the horses!

Buying on the back of these boards and expecting a 1 month 50% return is plain naive. When dealing with Aim I always invest hoping for a quick gain but am prepared for a 5 year hold. I never bet my shirt and generally buy in tranches. You have to ask yourself , irrespective of the Sp, do I think that this has a good chance of coming good? Then once you buy be prepared to sell into spikes and buy on troughs but remember until you sell you make neither a gain nor or loss. I am underwater here but have every expectation that if the project succeeds my single digit B/E will lead to tidy profits. I get so fed up listening to people bleating on about paper losses as if they were real losses. It’s just the current trading value of your shares. You only win or lose when you sell.

We started on the 6th. Today is the 11th. We should have proper results by the 16th (18th) but by this stage "some" things will be known. The people working on site.The odd wink to friends who wink to other friends. Last week big rise followed by inevitable profit taking. This week the money is saying up.....fingers crossed.

Jay, the material point is the immediate impact of x value of additional money to each. In simple terms if you gave £90m to each company the immediate impact is to double the value of one and for the other to 3 bag. Thereafter one can calculate impact of funds on other assets.

The market cap of 88e is circa 3 times that of RMP.(90m and 30m respectively) They both hold a similar share of the current drill. It follows that the impact for RMP is threefold that of 88e in terms of mcap and resultant sp move. Thus if the value added was 90m for each, (chosen solely for illustrative purposes) RMP would 3 bag whilst 88e would double in price. RMP is thus the highest geared play on this drill.

Chartman there is an old saying if the cap fits....chartism may not be popular but has its place. I have learned to ignore it at my peril.

Hi Lefty, I personally respect chartism but as you acknowledge a good RNS can’t be charted. Thanks for your help. You are much maligned by people who have the investment skills of a thick gorilla.

126m barrels at $4 per barrel.....forget the current Sp it is irrelevant. Look at market cap and shares in issue. Then work out the the market cap at 126m barrels at $4 per barrel. Upside here solely from WInx is many times that on 88e due to shares in issue . DYOR. I tried to buy at 5p this am and got caught in meetings . Order was not filled. This could seriously multi bag on commercial success.

A few here would do well to look at the shares in issue and respective Mcaps of the 2 shares. The pure play on this drill for a life changing experience is RMP with a mcap of circa 10m as opposed to 88e with an mcap of circa 60m and more than 12 times more shares in issue. 88e is more diversified with the resultant sp experience diluted.

Tricky, comparing us to Exxon is a tad like wishful thinking. If you wish to dream away about 50p any time soon then good luck to you. My short term expectations are more modest. Long term who knows what is possible.

Tricky have you ever heard of market sentiment and confidence? If you have perhaps you should consider the impact of a certain Donald and sanctions in respect of all things related to Russia. Luckily he should be out of office in 2 years and I am hoping that warmer trading conditions will follow thereafter leading to a change in sentiment and business conditions. In the meantime a spike would be nice - in the meantime a 15p short term spike would be most welcome but I am not expecting a 50p miracle.

Simm, precisely my point- lack of research. You haven't looked at how many shares were in issue and the resultant market cap when the sp hit 44p ! Trying to guess where this share could spike to in the short term is a fools errand since it would just be a guess. However, since you have asked and the basis that it is just a guess I feel that in the right conditions 5-15p is possible within the next 2 years but dilution and finance are the key.

I hold circa 2m of these at a B/E of circa 6.5p. I would love the sp to go up and am a big believer in the project.. I have bottomed drawered the investment for 3-5 years but would love a spike. We are talking AIM, we are talking manipulation and Russia. There is much scope for acquiring shares over a period of many months and not playing by the rules in terms of disclosure. We have known for ages that we have a world class mine as does the market. But without the money to develop it the commercial value is impaired. The market cap is £20m if this was Dragons den how much of the company would a dragon want for a £100m investment? We have to hope that any deal would be heavily dependent on loans with less resultant dilution. PI's here need to look hard at the shares in issue (now and then post probable dilution) and think about resultant market cap from a 50p share price. You will then see why 50p is delusional anytime soon.

Some pretty delusional/optimistic posts on this thread. The market sets the rate not RY in terms of the sp and at present an acquirer can buy them for circa 3p! You could probably acquire a very healthy stake over time buying through sub companies and 3rd parties without breaking double digits. You would only pay more on the balance to gain final control. The prize here is huge but without funding the prize is non accessible. It reminds me of Dragons Den where the inventor has bust his gut producing a great product but without marketing and finance it is worth a fraction of its potential.

Captain, can I just say that I wish Degsy would short this stock with every penny he has in the world. Then when he lost everything he would have to go to work and would have less time to write repetitive drivel here. I have a B/e in the 7’s, understand the risks and am crossing my fingers. I don’t need “duster” posts and I don’t need rampers just an RNS saying that the appraisal well has hit oil! GLA

2) Lower road build cost

What is needed now is the finance but at least we now have an investment case with the cherry of the 2018 drill results on top. Posters need to take care when comparing previous sp highs with today because in 2015 we had 431m shares as opposed to 699m today. IMHO mcap is seriously below where it should be. With the right finance deal (JV, shares,commercial loans , government loans or combination) the sp should multi bag from here.

Degsy when did you first realise that you are a walking 4 letter word? It must have been quite a moment. Would you care to share how you felt and the impact it has had on your life. Did it make you go into a repetitive feedback loop from which you have not recovered whereby you repeat the same carp day in day out? Have you considered therapy? What did you GP suggest?
