No probs WIP. With regards to Sepsis Tyk 2 has IL 6 and IL10 covered. Sepsis treatable at very early stage. I believe there is also a necrotising factor that may or may not be affected with TYK 2 but am not sure of this.

I had this myself. As the bacteria dies the area around it turns black and dies, not from the bacteria as i once thought, but caused by the bodies own immune system accompanied by heavy inflammation in the surrounding area.

Carter 19. Yes there is a comparison! Spanish flu killed at least 20 million people worldwide. Over a third of the world was infected over 500 million people.
Viruses are spread when people come into contact with other people. The denser the population the more likely hood of cross infection. 100 years ago there were were not several thousand flights a day with aircraft carrying hundreds of people.
The risk then is not very much different from the risks now. The virus is mutating all the time. It will kill thousands upon 1000s. Tell them in India there is no comparison.

Antibiotics can only kill a cell, never will kill a virus as invade our cells and use the cells DNA to replicate their RNA. Effectively the virus is mutates all the time.
Subject a virus to UV light so it kills some of the virus but not all of it. Reculture the virus which will now be significantly more resilient (old Open University science I did) It is my belief that these dangerous mutations are developing in hot countries with lots of sunshine and UV rays. Normally viruses cannot survive or even get a foothold. The indigenous population will have no immunity to viruses. Colder climates we get a cold, some get flu every year. Much resilience is passed down to us from our mothers ie, breast fed, hence acquired through successive generations.

The Spanish Flu pandemic in 1918 caused few deaths in its first wave. The 2nd wave, months later killed more millitary personnel than the first world war. Science has moved on, certainly with regards to medications and treatments since 1919.
Remember, we (sareum) have developed 2nd generation TYK 2 inhibitors that have taken years ( 10? Someone correct me if I am wrong) to get to this important and relevant stage we are at now ie CTA and trials in humans. Attention to detail and getting things right in the early stages were crucial and still is to its success. A great ADME profile, well tolerated with no adverse effects so far in preclinical studies ( human trials will confirm whether safe and at a later stage and effective or not)
Worst case scenario? Is it more effective than any other treatment at the moment with very little to no toxicity ( none of the treatments so far ie Remsdisivir, Barocitinib have shown significant success in treating Covid. They are what they are old generation/ nearing out of date treatments with their associated toxicity and adverse effects. They have black box warnings which reinforce this point, and importantly, only now authorised for use in an emergency situation). Do the big pharma's believe that these drugs will work in curing individuals ? Is it mere money making greed to sell their product for financial gain to wring every last dime they can get for their compound? People being treated, close to death, with a product that they have been led to believe will save them. It is their only hope. Families and loved ones have that hope too! Hope on its own is not good enough.

I will get back on track again here Bobbler. I see no reason as to why 1801 should not be effective only on Covid 19 but also sepsis too. However, that is just my take on it and can only be proven on clinical trial results and if found suitable and an ever increasing likely hood a fast track to treatment. The Ace up our sleeve is the lack of toxicity associated with other treatments.

Blastoid7. Sepsis is a killer, Early treatment is vital. Early stages can be treated with strong antibiotics. By the time people realise it is causing a problem it is then too late for orally administered antibiotics. The only recourse then is for heavy iv fed antibiotics but this has a somewhat limited effect. Hospitalisation and treatment is very expensive, certainly in the poorer countries. Money aside here, there is a vast need for an additional and alternative form of treatment. Thousands die every day needlessly, many of them children.

My thoughts, way of thinking or whatever you chose to call it leads me to add the following:-

If. and when 1801 gets it chance to be trialled and if found successful in any way shape or form for Covid alone would turn Sareum into a billion pound company overnight at least. If we take it also to be used in many other applications and also future flu pandemics ( (this will not be the last) after this one, plus its potential in all other immunotherapies then it indeed truly will be mind boggling. Of course there is also 1802 on top of that.

At the moment i see ( correct me if you have anything to the contrary) absolutely no competition from any other pharma or any other product which they manufacture has the potential of the Tyk 2 compound for the treatment of Covid. Toxicity and side affects being paramount problems as we well know.

Vaccines will work up to a point and there is not one which is 100% successful ( never will be), as we have seen some of the Covid 19 mutations are developing a resistance to them and hence have limited effect.. Always will be a case of playing to catch up. Over 7 billion people on the planet and under 160 million tested positive, Divide 160,000 by 7,000,000,000 and multiply by a hundred gives us just under 3% of known cases in the world population. sooner or later all 7 billion in whatever shape or form will be exposed to the virus along with the Covid mutations.

As I recall Tyk2 had no adverse affects at 30 times treatment dosage. The dosage was increased way beyond this to such an extent that the compound had to be reformulated to establish a maximum tolerated dose. This point I will stress again as one of the most important aspects of our compound.
Tyk 2 1801 is not an answer all on its own, vaccines will need be required as will the wearing of masks for some time yet. If and when this pandemic finishes, Tyk2 will still be a strong compound for treatments for the purposes it was invented and tested for.

Call me want you want, but I am not ramping, just confident.

Tim is not a sales person, he is not a biologist,he is very modest but what he did say 'we are very good at chemistry'. He looked excited at the first possible treatment of Covid. In interview he stated we believe Tyk 2 may be more effective than other Covid treatments.
You will never attempt to create something you do not believe in, unless you are part of a mega company which has a tick box attitude and paid handsomely for it. Dedication and attention to detail always without fail pays off.

I will reiterate that the highlight here is the extremely low toxicity. Sareum have proved that with all their compounds. The only problem I can see is the formulation of a compound. Then we have crystalization of their compounds patented I believe now.

Hi Potnak. As far as l know Sierra obtained Momoletonib from Gilead for 198m dollars. 3 million of which was paid upfront with a further 195 million in milestone payments. What with milestone payments for SRA737 that leaves them in a bit of a quandary. Lack of funding is root cause for lack of continued development. As for exploring options it would appear that writing to see/ on license Momelotinib to obtain funding for SARz737.

Casper. It is easy to spot. As soon as a share drops in the derampers come by the cart load. as do the rampers with ridiculous price forecasts. Both have an agenda and are merely two different sides of the same coin as I see it.
What is required is balanced input. The pro's and cons so as to speak.

The LSE share chat since Covid has allowed am influx of inexperienced investors or traders to be more precise who will ramp or deramp to suit their own agenda. No real chat or proper factual information, just opinions they like to declare as fact.

I sit several grand down at the moment. Should the share drop further I will buy. The share has potential by the bucket load. I will sit and wait until I am in a healthy profit. I do not buy here one day and expect massive returns the next day.

As I see it the share is volatile. It will have very large swings either way.

Mid term outlook I feel very good as the Paraytech has great potential not just in detecting Covid and its variants at low levels but can also be adapted to other diseases for example sepsis ( still a bigger killer every year than covid at the moment) through to Alzeimers.

Delays inevitably happen but that does not mean the product is worth anything less. Covid is not going soon. Less than 3% of the worlds population have been diagnosed positive and there are cases of people having covid 3 times. It will mutate of that there can be no denial.
But very important to remember that should we reach a stage that the number of new cases falls drastically, life begins to return to normal, then that becomes the most important time to test. if you do not you can have thousands of people become infected and or carriers and we return back to where we are now.
I am being long winded here. The point I make is that a fast rapid, accurate test for such outbreaks and pandemics will be required many years from now.
That alone is worth many times the current market value of the company as it stands now. Yes I know there are delays but have been around long enough not to be swayed by the ramper or the deramper.
