Chk1 is good but don't hold out much hearing much from them in the very near future ie next couple of month. Far too busy they are exploring these elusive options. I may be wrong.
SDC 1801 has a lot going for it. News will be forthcoming with regards to CTA in next 3 or 4 weeks. That should up the SP as well as confirm suitability for the trial ( another milestone will then be achieved)
We had a big jump up yesterday and not see that was fully justified and hence a retrace today. Anyones guess as to Sp tomorrow but would suggest 2.60 to 3 5p up until June. Confirmation of CTA should increase SP and results if they prove positive then on the road to fast track and an almost guaranteed 10p plus to follow.
There will always be an element of doubt. if there was no element of doubt the SP would be 10p plus now.
A little patience is required, sometimes more but if you know the pipeline all should end up trumps.

With Boils excellent posting of Covid and cancer links it makes the belief in our compounds that little bit stronger. There really is nothing else that I have seen out there in the same league. It is not beyond possibility some cancers could be treated whilst also treating Covid 19 at the same time with a Tyk 2 Jak 1 inhibitor.

As I say there will be ups and downs. People have different buy and sell prices. Some will take a profit, some will top slice, I don't have an issue with that as their perogative. The SP will react accordingly as we have seen very recently.

Clinical trial application due in June for 1801 for Covid 19.

How much would you put the market cap value at, for a takeover?
We have Sra 737 (Sierra) which is a checkpoint kinase inhibitor 27% of milestones and royalties. Effective on its own but far more effective in combination, ie Gemsitibine or wee1 ( excuse my spellling).
We have 1801 for immunotherapy with very good preclinical indications to treat Covid 19, We also have 1802 also Tyk2 jak1 inhibitor for the treatment of cancers. Zero to low toxicity and no other similar compound with such a safety profile available for license.

I am in not in anyway of the belief a takeover would take place i might add;

The only news that I see is worthwhile releasing is, that after a year of exploring options they have now found a way to recommence development of CHK1.

News on this front will up it by a penny at least in the short term, As for a company interested in Tyk 2 I reckon they will be shown the claw hammer coat.

For those not accustomed to the claw hammer coat, it was a procedure carried out years ago by night club doorman, who would assist your exit from an establishment after unbecoming behaviour, by first placing one hand firmly on your collar whilst the other was placed tightly on the back of the seat of your pants whilst a hand full of centre coat, also held ( hence claw hammer effect) would then propel you through the door, across the pavement and onto the road. Accompanied by the words to the effect of, go away and use any other establishment apart from ours in the future.

It will take a considerable amount of money to put this through trials for its original intended targets of which there are many. All looks good on this front.
Due to the selectivity of our Tyk2 Jak 1 inhibitor over anything out there especially Jak1 Jak 2 and Jak 3 inhibitors which carry severe adverse effects, have NDA black box warnings substantiating these effects. They are only approved by the NDA for emergency use only. Truly desperate measures being taken to:- a/ save lives and b/ glean as much money for a pharma before end of patent protection for these 1st generation inhibitors and their now known side effects. Basically in a nut shell they are becoming obsolete! Money for old rope so as to speak.

As for a value, and I have stated before in my opinion a minimum 250 million up front with substantial milestone payments. The trial for potential treatment of Covid19 aside, will confirm the lack of toxicity and hence suitability in human beings and therefore confirm is safe to put forward for the original therapies of targets.

The only persons knowing as likely candidates for licensing will be Tim and Co. I do not know who that would likely to be.

Those, that are the interested parties you can be damn sure will be following the progress of our molecule in Covid 19. I would postulate that there would have already been made informal offers. Formal offers would have to have been released vis RNS.
Put yourself in Sareums positon. Do you accept these offers? If you do not, then that is their belief that what they have is worth way way above what may have already been offered. Add on an effective treatment for Covid 19 in its present state, or likely serious mutation thereof in the current pandemic and try and put a price on.

Sareum will require a 3rd party should this be the case, to provide the financial clout and manufacturing ability to bring the compound into mass production if and when so required.

With regard to the Tyk 2 compound we have, given its potential, it is now to be seen as a benefit to the seller. If a 3rd party were prepared to make a formal bid and more than one party is interested it would not be out of the question to see a bidding war.

To answer your question directly as to who the interested or likely partners I have no idea. more knowledgeable posters like Thoth can far better than me speculate on this issue. Not so much as a question of who, but more a question of how much.

I can offer no more with regards to potential licensees or partners than this.

Hollybean, you need to look at market cap. Our SDC 1801 and 1802 are the only available TYK2 compounds available for license. Low toxicity or no toxicity albeit still only just in preclinical stage.

all11, Last time it dropped from 3p to 1.5 was when Astra Zenecca released news of its vaccine. It hammered all potential covid 19 diagnostics and treatment companies.
Sareum is worth more than its current market value non inclusive of a possible target of Covid 19. They very likely hood of being a potential treatment for covid 19, is bolstered by its selectivity ie Tyk 2 over Jak 2 ( Jak 2 is far less selective, tyk2 has a 10 fold selectivity of Jak 2 and Jak 3 and a five fold selectivity over Jak1. Jak 1 advantageous as signals through a different pathway yet only a relatively small amount of Jak 1 in our inhibitor} is undeiable.
All patents now in place and waiting for news for clinical trial application, and approval. There are no grounds whatsoever to indicate as to why we will not be approved as far as I can see.

All looking good and I do hope Charlie has given up on his getting in at 1p and thus removed his short.

The mind does boggle what the SP will be in a few short weeks.

News of CTA ie success and start date. Importantly too is if we have 1 or maybe 2 1801 compounds. Our patent allows us to use any of the compounds in any ratio from the 3 groups 00, 01 and 02. Both the iv and oral route to be taken I would think with iv being utilised first..

Maybe Sierra milestone payment, but in honesty I think they delay until got shot of Momelotinib. As Thoth stated a while ago work will need to be done progressing CHK1 or it will be returned. Reduced milestone payment and still not found anything. They have had over a year now to explore options. They just don't have the funds at the moment. 50 million I believe was raised by the issue of more shares. No guarantee as far as I know that it is for CHK1 and not Momolotinib. Milestone payments to Gilead of approx $185million will become due. Bum deal I feel that one for Sierra, Upfront payment I believe of circa 3 million dollars. Gilead must be rubbing their hands together. Plus they have Remsdisivir, that is not worth a wa.k either.

Should our SDC1801 prove successful in Agile platform then further funding can be obtained up to a maximum of 10 million.

I feel we have interested parties that will want to see the outcome of CTA and potential use of 1801.
The price by then will of course have gone up considerably if they want to buy, lock stock and barrel.
SDC was aimed for treatment of Covid 19. It is just that fortunately Covid 19 will prove an ideal testing target for 1801.

With a tail wind behind us we should be in a position to be able to treat people towards the end of the year.

Not overly keen on biological chemistry, much more interest in Nuclear Physics.

A point I will make here is Synairgen and their inhaler (Interferon beta) is primarily for the treatment for asthma. I see no other associated Covid 19 targets.

Although Tyk2 shows great promise in potential as a very successful treatment of Covid 19 due to its selectivity, Do not forget that the intended targets for use as a therapy and covered by patents are numerous to say the least. Covid 19 is a side play.

An advantage of compounds of the formulae (0), (1) and (2) as defined herein is that they exhibit selectivity for TYK2 kinase compared to other kinases of the JAK family. For example, the majority of the compounds of formulae (0), (1) and (2) exemplified herein have at least a tenfold selectivity for TYK2 compared to JAK2 and JAK3 and at least a fivefold selectivity for TYK2 versus JAK1.

Tyk 2 being put forward as potential treatment of Covid 19 was a recommendation made by the WHO. Most ailments associated with Covid 19 are suitable targets of our patented compounds.

The application made in 2019 if memory serves me correct was for Tyk2 1801. This was rejected I believe on the grounds that the compound was already covered under the patent of FLT3. The patent for Tyk2 went through I believe earlier this year.
Effectively. that means patent protection of another 7 years ie runs from circa 2020 as opposed to 2013. Will add considerably to value of compound on proven success. Recent patent grant for Tyk 2 in March for Europe. Almost identical wording to US patent application. All hurdles that need to crossed how now been crossed with regards to patents.

original problem I believe in rejecting earlier application being argued the compound being too similar to FLT3 + Auorora and hence covered by that patent.

Patents with regards to Sareum will provide protection for their compounds and their intended uses.

Yes very true Krone, it just goes to show how desperate the situation is getting. I dare say the current strain will neither be the worst or the last. Feel pretty confident with 1801, potential in sepsis too. I would suggest it will put us top of the list. Funding by the government and via the Agile platform should ensure potential of our compound is realised. Money aside the important issue is saving death and suffering in all walks of life.

Fearg, I believe control of the cytokine storm can be halted by 1801 of that I have no doubt. It is just my opinion that if different parts of our immune system can be adjusted by the way it signals then the immune system can repair most of damage done, Much contradiction as to the exact kinases involved. We have the basics as far as I see with regards to cytokine storm. Tyk 2 is very selective ( can be formulated ever so) and the small amount of Jak 1 looks optimal.

Mental disorders have been associated with Covid. The question here:- are you more vulnerable with a mental disorder of the effects of Covid 19 or has Covid 19 created directly or indirectly to a mental disorder. Certain material leads us to the latter but not proven conclusively'

I do hope and pray your daughter will be fine and especially her partner as well as all the other children. Heartbreaking to see young children suffering. In a way we are fortunate to have a health system, however much that it costs that can provide treatment to all. A valuable but also a finite resource.
