Why would there need to be a placing before any results of CTA with respect to covid 19? Germany is suffering from out breaks France is Suffering and so are the Philipines to mention just a few. Covid is also now being linked to Diabetes as a cause of in some cases. Ending lockdowns is just not working. If and should TyK2 be beneficial in treating Covid 19 Sareum will be jumped upon. Pharma's will be queuing up. If it it does not prove effective then it still has much value and will need a placing within a few months.
That is my opinion. Tim and co been looking at this for a year now. They are not the fastest to get results but apart from solubility issues with FLT3 + Aurora Toxicity and effectiveness have been good. Within 6 to 8 weeks we will know for sure if not earlier.

Homer 55, Have you worn a P2F mask yet? I doubt you would even know which way up or which way round to put it on based on the quality of your posts. It is my judgement on the mask as to why peoples glasses don't get steamed up. If I found something that I did not like in the mask I would say. It is not self praise it is recognition

Tiddlor, preventing glasses steaming up will be the result of a good fit around the bridge of the nose which the P2F mask is brilliant at. Exhaled air which contains moisture will condensate on the cooler glass. Biggest problems in cold temperatures.
When a largish volume of air escapes through this route it is indicative of the effectiveness of the mask, ie the exhaled air is basically passing unfiltered from the wearer. If we reverse the situation it means than inhaled air when passing through this route is also unfiltered.

Good you have your masks. it says on the front can be worn for over 7 hours. There are imbeciles that post tripe on here saying it can only be worn for 7 then you to change it. No you don't. I have already been approached several times as to where these masks can be bought so they can be worn after certain restrictions are lifted in June.

Yes RMS is not without its problems. These can be overcome. Covid is not going to suddenly vanish on the 21st of June just because Boris Johnson has lifted restrictions. He is a prime minister not a god.
What is of extreme importance is the control and limit the spread of corona virus and closely monitor for other variants which prove to be more contagious and damaging. Then we also need look at the long term effects and cost to the NHS of people now with long term conditions.
As I have stated before you are not interested in other people and you just confirm not only my judgement , but also other peoples judgement by the constant barrage of drivel that you post.

Good post Rajbury. Masks will be required for the foreseeable future. I would think at some time these masks or masks of similar quality will be the norm to be worn in all food places ie bakeries, butchers fish stools and markets.
RMS still has a way to go with meeting production targets but I expect this is in the process of being resolved.

restrictions were lifted last year, we had BLM, ER and Antifa demonstrations go ahead without disruption but during restrictions. The virus significantly spread with the result of now 125,000 deaths. There is now a 3rd wave in Europe and Canade now too. Travel restrictions may be lifted and non essential shops gyms and might clubs open up. Travelling from abroad will require a mask. Cruise ships will require wearing of masks in certain places. Although restrictions will be lifted the wearing of masks will not. Current masks offer little in the way of protection to the wearer. The only masks worth wearing are masks like P2F. 7 hrs is not the maximum time the mask can be worn for without being effective. Perhaps you could enlighten us with your knowledge on this subject. When I am subject to a test every 2 years for the wearing of RPE that I wear which takes aroumd 12 minutes per test, It does not mean I can only wear that RPE for 12 minutes.

Mask wearing will compulsory for some time yet, even though we have f... wits who walk round and think they are exempt. What they think is irrelevant and misconstrued rather similar to yourself.

I have bought 100 masks for myself . Happy to as made in the Uk. ie not the EU, China or the rest of the world. I therefore am looking after my health and the health of others. I should think with your attitude and outlook you have very little concern for others. Clearly you do not want to wear a mask and an effective one at that.

Only a small percentage of the worlds population have been found positive for Covid. An effective treatment will be required ASAP. We have the next winter to look forward to and restrictions will be based what effective measures we have to stem the spread of Covid 19.
No vaccination is 100% effective, it is highly likely that strains will develop that will have become immune to vaccines. vaccines are only a catch up. 9 billion people in the world. Covid is not going away anytime soon.

Homer 55. Yes I can just picture Forces personnel serving food in canteens wearing NBC respiratory equipment! Try wearing a a respirator ( face fit test required every 2 years) ie Pro mask, Sari or N50 and there are others. whether powered or not for more than a couple of hours. Normal practise in the Uk that non powered respirators should only be used for a period of 1 hr ( government HSE guidlines). Yes powered respirators are also available and approved for use up to a 4hr working period.

Locked and loaded. A very valid point you make with regards to vaccinations. Viruses can and do mutate. In comparison only a relatively small fraction of the worlds population has been detected with the virus. There of course will be people with the virus that have not been tested. The virus can mutate in these people to. Some strains will be more contagious with maybe less serious effects. Sooner or later it will become very likely that a strain will become far more deadly.
Vaccinations ok up to a point in that they do not prevent you from getting the virus or indeed transmitting it, it is just that your adjusted immune system can cope far better with the virus.

We are now approaching Spring and of course as we know viruses do not like ultra violet light. With the exception of HIV, how many viruses have broken out in hot climates ie Africa or the Middle East? Very, very few if any. Now,if we bring infected people into this country it can spread. Viruses can be made more stronger and resillient if subjected to UV light. In the lab you can subject a virus to ultra violet light killing off 90% of the virus and the remaining 10% you can culture which now results in a stronger virus. ( education in my earlier days when doing my OU science degree)
Since there are now countries all over the world suffering from Covid infections with many of these countries being of hot climates the virus will become hardened.
It would be rather foolish for anyone to think that vaccinations are the be all and end all of the Covid 19. NONE OF THESE VACCINATIONS ARE 100% EFFECTIVE! This is with regards to the strains we so far know about and not emerging strains that are happening now. Vaccinations are merely playing catch up.
China is reported to only have circa 90k tested positive cases and around 4 and a half thousand deaths in a population of over 1 billion since the start which I find hard to believe. There are now reports of a 3rd wave in Canada and in Italy.
The market is large enough for many manufacturers of masks. Many masks are just not suitable. This pandemic will not be over any time soon and whilst Covid 19 will not be eradicated completely, measures and controls must be put in place to stem its progress and protect us the human being. It is now found in animals too!

Vaccinations, effective RPE, avoidance of close contact in public places and indeed upcoming treatments for the cytokine storm will be required. In addition measures will need to be in place should we be subject to far more deadlier forms of Covid 19 and any other similar viruses.

Nina, primarily it is supplements that do this. There is no testing for supplements or any certification. Products like masks which have been certified and tested should not experience this problem.

7hr mask. Nobody works 8 10 or 12 hrs non stop.
Those that go to work would know that. Nothing to stop you taking your mask off while you have a coffee or something to eat or even go for a number 2. The masks are tested over a 7hr period ., that does not mean that is all they are good for. My employers and people up here in most Northern part of Scotland very very interested and want to.purchase. Have passed details of RMS onto them and P2F details. I would think.if good enough for Rolls Royce not much else to say. You can stick the French and other foreign inferior masks where the sun dont shine.
