“I also retain the thought that the price will increase by the end of the third week in March and then fall somewhat until the middle of April, when it should begin to have a steady (if not bumpy) increase”
Understandably he is playing his cards close to his chest but I always thought he was basing at least some of this prediction on the financial year end?
My guess is if people haven’t used up their last years tax allowance they will sell tomorrow (Thursday) and txfer the funds into their Isa account and buy back next week?
Alternatively you could wait until next week (or the week after?) and just when you think the shares are either stable start off the process of somehow getting £20,000 worth of Saga shares from your Trade account into your Isa account?
Anyone put any thought how they are going to do this and when and what effect this will have on the share price?
that hardly anybody is over here on this chat group which makes me think that this one has slipped through the net? IMO of course but this has got the very least another 50% rise coming from 50p and soon. The guys who run The Works are really switched on and know what they doing. Dean Hoyle (Chairman), the biggest shareholder (15%) is a multi millionaire for a reason. Don’t trust me I’m a stranger do your own research but check out todays email and the quality of not only their produce but the actual email itself - very professional. Do a dummy purchase on their website and see how easy it is. They have spent a lot of money on this. http://links.info-theworks.co.uk/servlet/MailView?ms=MTI3MzgzODkS1&r=NDkzMTA5MDM0MjU3S0&j=MTcxNjIyOTg5MAS2&mt=1&rt=0 Good luck everybody.
I’m 60 and could easily pass for 65 but if we all think we look older then who are we comparing ourselves to? I’ve always looked old though, I remember in 4th year seniors the English teacher used to send me out for his cigarettes because I was the only one who could get served! Ha ha Even the 5th Years couldnt! Lol
"Whey aye man your gonna need ya sea legs for this", take your Newcastle stag weekend for a cruise along the River Tyne on our party boat.
Used to be so funny seeing this go up and down the quayside full of revellers.
The Saga Booze Cruise.
The only difference is that it’s going to be the Med.
If foreign holidays are delayed so airports are a no go zone then surely everyone is going to be chomping at the bit to get on a cruise regardless of its destiny?
I can’t see foreign governments placing restrictions on a boat full of intoxicated sorry ehhm inoculated OAP’s entering their waters?
The future is bright the future is Saga (and hopefully Wrks ha ha!)
Hey JoeSoap it’s like knitting fog mate, I mean take the other day for example, my wife said to me “does my ar4se look fat in these jeans”? and I said “No, not in those jeans”
Hi Sigma and welcome. I have been buying these since before Xmas when I noticed how busy and popular the shops are. (when they are open of course). I ‘hung out’ inside a couple of the shops listening to the conversation between the staff and in every case they all seemed very happy and there was always a queue at the till. I also like what they sell (but don’t profess to have ever bought anything yet!). They have really invested heavily in their on line offerings and I am impressed. I have reduced my portfolio to 2 stocks that I think have got massive upside and this is one of them. The other is Saga. I have £150,000 of these now and think that will be double that in 12 months. Can’t for the life of me understand why this discussion isn’t buzzing!
RE: Staycation and Seacation Cruises23 Mar 2021 22:17
OMG I’m so thick sometimes. I hadn’t spotted the year but tbh it could be 2022 as far as I am aware. One of the good things about retiring is that every day is a weekend ha ha
The other link is for 2021 but it’s all about holidaying in the Great British Isles?
Who the hell wants to do that especially in September ffs?
Saga just got a mention on Celebrity Bake-off ha ha
Two of the hosts were carrying on and one of the contestants (a comedian) said “oh look at them, next thing they will be booking a Saga cruise together”.
Hey I’m so overloaded here I will take anything. Every little helps! ha ha
My son persuaded me to go into one of those peep shows (not that it took much persuading). Basically it’s like a big revolving threepenny bit (showing my age here ha ha) with cubicles on the outside and you put a euro coin in a slot and the screen drops down so you can see a ‘show’.
Anyhow when your times up the screen slowly rises and your choice is to call it a day or put more money in.
It reminds me of this. Checking the Saga share price. It’s not possible to look away.
I agree Tincat but that’s the nature of the beast.
There’s definitely no fun when the share price goes down but if it’s losing gains it’s bearable (but still not very nice!).
Everything always goes back to the age old question of whether you have gambled sorry ehhm invested money you could genuinely afford to lose.
Truthfully although true, that’s a pretty daft question because my guess is that everyone here (if not all) is working class and we all know that there is no such thing!
