Summary.
As can be seen from (the non negotiable figures!) above Saga is now at the same Mcap as the average just before Covid.
It must be remembered that although both ships were fully operational during this period the insurance arm was in decline and morale within Saga was low.
Sir Roger along with the cash injection of £140m is the main difference. Today’s RNS shows that the Insurance arm is now on the up so once those cruise ships start generating £ then this is going to fly.
The Jan-Jun 2019 average Mcap of £840m (602p) will be achieved in the next 12 months for sure and that will be just the start.
Sir R is now on a mission. This after all is his baby and he’s already a Billionaire so it’s not about the money. It’s more than that. It’s pride.
