Your timing was perfect and although I joked about wishing us all well I do love it when people manage to sell at a peak and beat the system.
So the question is…. have you bought back in?

At the end of the day we can all make as many assumptions as we like and that is good because this is a discussion board and it’s nice to see other people’s thoughts but truthfully they are all based on very little.

The Director buy speaks volumes to me and so does the fact the shops are actually busy which nobody can’t deny and it’s not my opinion it’s a fact.

On closer inspection some of those balloons I mentioned on an earlier post are actually £15 and people are actually buying them!

If we go back into lockdowns then we are in trouble but if not then we will double for sure.

Two of those £10grand buys earlier today were mine because I’m a believer.

At the end of the day we are all here to make £ and although this Director buy is not an earth shattering amount it’s their own money and in my opinion sends out a signal that they are not planning a RI anytime soon.

When this goes back to 90p everyone here is going to wish they got in at 60p.

Hi PurpleInvestor I’m also retired at an early age (60) and also spend far too much of it on these discussion boards BUT it has made me a small actually large fortune so not complaining. I do think the big money has been made now though in terms of multi bagging.
Wrks is a good one though and has certainly got another 50% in the next 12 months Imo.
I have a smallish (20 grand) in Shoe Zone but the problem I have with it is that there is never anybody in the shop whenever I pass by and I mean NEVER in fact the other day whilst sat outside I actually saw a shoplifter stuffing a pair of shoes under their jumper!
Whereas the Works is always busy. The busiest by far though is the Card Factory were I am also heavily invested.

Be honest Banbury this is nothing to do with Tour or the %rate on the loans. You are only getting out at £6.50 to £7 because you promised to buy everyone a beer at £8 ha ha

Almost twice as many buys as sells again. Patience is the name of the game here.

On my way to the baths this morning i called by the local shopping centre because they have 3 of my investments in close proximity. Card Factory The Works and Shoe Zone. Shoe Zone had a couple of people browsing The Works was busy but the Card Factory was heaving. I sat for about 20 minutes and at no point was there no one at the till buying something. Whilst in the queue I could see Customers reaching over and impulse buying more stuff off the shelves. There were people waiting outside and staff were bringing them big inflated balloons out several at a time. I saw people at the till handing several of these silvery packs of balloons over presumably to be inflated. These are £5 each and the markup alone on these must be huge.
This shop isn’t going anywhere and at this price is an absolute bargain.

It’s a funny thing wealth isn’t it? I was a Council kid Dad died Mam was a cleaner had nowt. Built up my £ through property and by pure luck made another small fortune here BUT once you reach the point of it giving you freedom then it really isn’t important anymore. It’s numbers in an on line account somewhere and if you haven’t got happiness without money you most certainly won’t get it with it! Money gives you freedom and you don’t actually need that much to be free. If you have got your health you are already a millionaire.

There was an almost identical trade yesterday for the same amount. That particular trade is 15 grand down already but they won’t be remotely bothered because trades that size are investments not punts. Be interesting to see if the same happens tomorrow.

Been the same everyday for the last couple of weeks and the share price drops. Let me remind you that this is a big game and we are the players. If you want to make £ in this game then you have to hold your nerve and remind yourself why you invested in the first place. If you need reminding then pay a visit to your local Card factory shop and chat with the staff. Every time I have been in there they have been busy.

I wondered when “Paddyboy” would raise his ugly head. Same stupid exclamation mark at the end of his stupid sentences. Pathetic and borrring zzzzzzz.

Go back to Feb and you will see that I locked horns with the idiot and called him out. I said it would turn on a sixpence and it did.

Whilst we have got a potential RI hanging over us this will continue to be volatile. Personally I will keep topping up if it drops further because I believe that it has got a really good future and will be multiples of the current price in 12 to 18 months but that’s just my opinion I could be wrong. We will see.

It’s a bit like that game Tipping point on TV when loads of counters fall off the ledge and the other contestant congratulates them with gritted teeth but really wants to stab them. Ha ha

I can’t be the only one when selling out of a share that hopes it crashes and burns 10 minutes after selling can I?
Like Beach I sold a chunk of mine last week and even though I have still got quadzillions of these slightly disappointed at the sudden rise. Lol
Funny game this isn’t it.

Hi Alnwick and SOH Saga is still one of my biggest holdings but it’s nice to have a punt and been in and out of Card since 30p and it has done me well. I’m in big now and keep topping up as it’s dropped. RI yes it’s coming and I’m cool with that.

The million $ question is will Card @ 60p get to 90p before Saga @ £4.40 gets to £6.60?

Nobody knows of course but I’m hedging my bets and getting a finger in each pie!

and finally….

Another interesting fact was that a couple of years ago they trialled Customers being able to create a card in store and print it off immediately but the printer kept getting stuck so it was a bit of a disaster!

It also took up too much time so wasn’t cost effective.

It’s amazing what you find out if you are cheeky enough to ask.

If any of you guys are feeling brave then have a look at CARD. (Not you Beach - you are in enough trouble!).
59p to buy us a bargain. Don’t discuss it here and please don’t just buy on my recommendation. I’m just saying check it out.

Beach you got to do what you got to do and for me it shows you have got spunk! Doing nothing is easy but you are young and each you do “something” as crazy as this (and what you have done is super crazy!) you learn something that no daft courses can teach you. Many years ago in the dot com boom bust with a young family I borrowed money from the bank that could barely pay back and cutting a long story short lost the lot. But 20 odd years later I’m back and cleaning up.

Jackbogle! You don’t know half of it. I have actually got loads more than the ones I have mentioned above. I went through a phase of jumping in big style to lots of different shares but had no patience (still haven’t).
Check my posting history and you will see I am no fantasist. If you can bothered and go far enough back you will see that I 9 bagged AVCT having bought in at 22p. I’m a straight talking northerner nothing to prove.

Just checked and SAR has only 8 bagged since I sold out. ITX which I sold at 0.5p is now 11p+ so 22 bagged!!
This is a big game though and I’m not dwelling on past mistakes I’m laughing at them because each and everyone of us here are doing it or will. Ha ha
