Keep it up “jackbogle” I do genuinely find you entertaining but you must understand if you always tell the truth then you can’t trip yourself up. Yes could be completely wrong (only time will tell) but I feel like an easy 50% increase is heading our way with Card and don’t want to miss it. If it comes off I will re balance my portfolio and put the £ back into Saga where I took it from. Hopefully Saga won’t double in the same time period. Now that would be funny! Ha ha

Well.. time will tell if I have made a mistake here but I have to confess that I have been selling out as the price has dropped. Still got £60k in here which I will leave in but I’ve got bored and want a bigger risk/gain ratio that I don’t think Saga now offers. I do think it will double though from here….eventually.

Impulsively I have bought another £18,000 of these today. 60% of my portfolio and tempted to go all in. Hope I’m not going to regret this! Ha ha

I sold half of my Saga shares 2 weeks ago which in principle was a really good move but the share I bought (Card) has gone down just as much. Ha ha

I know I keep beating the same old drum but once again I have just spent 20 minutes stood outside my local Card shop and it was really busy. It’s a Tuesday and mid morning so nothing special about the day or time but at no point was there nobody at the till buying something. In my book that has got to mean something and this is now the largest holding in my portfolio and I genuinely don’t think that “I have called it wrong”. Patience is the name of the game here.

That’s the million $ question Sue and one that nobody knows the answer to for sure. We all wish that we had sold 2 weeks ago and bought them back today but that’s hindsight. The shops are busy and that’s a fact so providing there are no more lockdowns which I personally don’t think there will be then your money is safe here. Try to switch off and check less. Come back in a couple of months and I think you will be pleasantly surprised. That’s my plan anyway. Good luck.

Ps culco As part of my training plan I did the Epicman Windermere 5 weeks ago which is a half. Also a nightmare but highly recommended.

I’m not going to lie, couldn’t care less about the football, more a Rugby man myself but England winning last night combined with us all coming out of hibernation is time to party and that can only be a good thing for CARD. I piled in here big time at 78p (ouch) and have continued since so some of those big buys over the last couple of days have been mine finally bringing my average down to mid 60’s.
I’m a believer and are confident I will double my money here in the next 6 to 12 months.
If you want to make good money then you have to take risks but please don’t gamble £ you can’t afford to lose.

Omg I’m back Joe and I did it! 15 hours and 27 minutes of absolute TORTURE. What a day. Never ending and so unbelievably hard and only just made the cut offs for both the swim and the bike. Walked a lot of the run because I was a broken man but hey none of that matters because my name is RoxburyHouse and I am an Ironman! Ha ha Just got to decide on my tattoo now!

Morning Joe no I should be and feel guilty for not organising it better and setting one up but I’m an imposter and shouldn’t really be here. It’s actually a full on race and I’m totally out of my depth and a month ago I wasn’t going to do it so didn’t want to let everyone down. So here I am surrounded by athletes and totally out of my depth. I will be at the start line but it will be an absolute miracle if I reach the end.

2 years ago after a few beers I booked and paid to enter the Bolton Ironman. It was always on my bucket list when I was younger but the years have passed and now I’m old!
So pleased last year when it was deferred through Covid but now I’m here parked in my MH with just over 24 hours to go thinking wtf have I got myself into! Ha ha
At 6:00am Sunday morning when you are laid in bed I will in giving it 10 nowt in a lake for 2.5miles.
If I survive that then at 8:00am I will be getting on my bike for a 112 mile ‘hilly’ ride.
If I survive that then hopefully 4pm ish I will be starting a full 26mile marathon run for 5 hours.

Hi Salfordred yes Sar was one of my ‘babies’ last year. I had 8Million of them at an average of 0.8p but stupidly sold out because I surprise surprise got bored and impatient. If you go back you will see I used to comment on there. Can’t win them all!

Still got a 6 figure sum in Saga but getting bored now so I have swung the bulk of my £ out of here and into a more riskier share because that is were the big money is. I do see a 50% increase in share price here eventually but there are possible 100, 200% increases still out there (but not for much longer) I won’t cross ramp but if there is ever a party I will provide the balloons or at the very least send a CARD! Ha ha

I’m a simpleton and have made an absolute fortune in the last 12 months on simple research and gut instinct.

In this case you only have to sit outside the Card Factory shops to see they are actually really busy.

The demand is there so the gamble here is whether or not there will be another lockdown.

I don’t think that there is a cat in hells chance of the shops closing again - ever.

Card Factory was a really successful viable business before all this Covid nonsense and will be afterwards.

£1+ easily in the next 6 to 12 months easily.

Only in my opinion of course.
