On buying today, I looked at what the IP/patents must be worth against the market cap (looks to be £5 mill checking today's fundamentals) plus dept.

Looked a good bet.

Of course as soon as I pressed the buy button the sp started to take it's usual direction down, but as several have said, Monday is probably crunch time.

Meant to add that my buy was shown as a sell.

After being in and out of this company since it's conception and continually being stung, I have only held a token gesture of just over 12,000 shares for the last couple of year deciding that is was a very poor decision to even leave such a small amount in I had almost decided that I should not allow heart to rule head and get out totally.

This company has continually failed to impress in anything but test results regarding their products.

Poor sales (corner shop stuff) continuing putting out the begging bowl, always promising, but never delivering and yet, I have just increased my holding by quite an amount, mainly due to the director buys plus a gut feeling.

I can't help feeling that with a market cap of just over £5 mill, they are on the verge of a takeover or a tie up with a big brother, something I any many have touted for years.

I can't see a sudden splurge in orders, not after years on drip feeding into many different hospitals, but who knows, sometimes although not a recognised strategy, you have to go with your gut.

I see a few posts that I fully agree with the argument, but not with the tone.

Having joined this community not that long ago, I must say that I have in general found it to be a great site for discussion and assisting research.

Not sure if anyone has posted this previously, but the following might and I repeat might, make companies like AFC who as my last post stated, only issue news items if and when it suits them.

From 28 September 2018, all AIM companies will be required to state which recognised corporate governance code the board of directors has decided to apply and to explain how the Company complies with that code.

As to AFC end of year, it's 31st OCT.

Each one of those promises/expected would justify a RNS succeed or fail, as each one on it's own would be sp effecting, so by market rules a RNS is required.

But of course this is the AIM and we know AFC's record on releasing RNS's when it benefit, but not when it doesn't.

Not saying this is the reason, but I saw a similar pattern 2 years ago regarding a small AIM company where is was taken private.

Many PI's were against this move as it was looking that the timing was around a big jump in prospects (this company was looking to gain massively via a small oil companies discoveries).

As per the market rules, the proportion of shareholders reached the percentage for the remaining holders either selling out at the offer price, or being forced out at a possible lower price.

The big players of course now have this company, with the little players left out.

In 2013 I raised a complaint report on behalf of a group of shareholders regarding a company (not AFC) that was known for releasing MOU's that when they were either withdrawn or lapsed, did not issue any follow up RNS.

They also released via RNS several statements of where large companies were testing their products and massive projections of how lucrative possible contracts would be, always hinting that these possible contracts were likely and near to signing, giving timelines and yet again these timelines lapsed and it was only by shareholder research that it was shown that these tests had either failed or they had not performed as well as expected.

We complained directly to the company, but were ignored and even months later no RNS's were released. I compiled a dossier of over 10 such issues and this was excepted by the market regulator for investigation.

A few months later, I received the following reply, 'They informed me that unless their investigation had resulted in a public censure, they would not comment on specific cases.
They also confirmed that if there is a none public censure or a NFA decision I would not be informed.

So as it stood, I could not find out if the decision after investigation (if indeed they did investigate and not just bin it) was a private censure or NFA.

A few on here will remember this dossier as i put it on full on a different shareholder site where my posting name was 'Greekman'.

That poor response by the FSA confirmed my belief that they have about as much bite as a rottweiler with no teeth. So in a nutshell, any complaint by us mere PI's is a complete waste of time.

As Deltex have little sign of any major contract that would shift the sp to the percentage increase achieved today, I feel that there must be a leak of news of either a takeover or a partnering, something many of us have thought would be the best way to go for this very poorly managed company, ie a company with far more clout.

Surely there has to be a RNS tomorrow, even if it's to state that 'the company know of no reason for the sp increase'.

My big worry on any AIM share is that the sp gets pushed down (easy to do) and the company is then taken private resulting in the shareholders missing out, this happens more than people think.

It's about time the market regulators took firmer action with shareholders being mislead, and by mislead I include being kept in the dark.

Closed periods have more holes than a sieve.

They have been quoted as leading providers for over 2 years now. As my previous post states, it's potential, not actual. I often get annoyed when I read such misleading statements in the media.

One day though, it will be fact not dreams.

Apart from putting AFC further on the world energy supply stage, what a great invite for networking.

Also the situation in Tokyo tragic as it is, shows another example of where the AFC system is less likely to be damaged being more independent to risk (local to each user) than when main power lines and main infrastructure is damaged.

Once AFC do open the dam, I feel that more potential customers will look at the back-up side of the system just as much as the cost equal level to main energy systems.

It always gets to me that in the market, especially the AIM, when MOU lapse or are not renewed, the companies involved do not have to inform the shareholders, although such actions are obviously sp sensitive.

I have known many AIM companies where MOU's have lapsed and the market has not been informed, mainly I suspect that many MOU's do not have a time frame, giving companies the get out re informing their shareholders.

Not saying any AFC MOU's have lapsed or not, just a general observation.

As I understand it the CEO is in the same position if it can be shown that any deals he makes are a result of inside information, whether he profits personally or not.

Good posts, showing how South Korea is desperate to reduce pollution, their belief in fuel cells and leads to the main point and that is the AFC cells appear to be far more reliable that those of Posco.

This should, and I repeat should, bode well for AFC.

As AFC found a far cheaper alternative to platinum several years ago, it still appears that AFC are not banging the drum load enough.

Whilst i appreciate AFC could not yet supply multiple orders, there is surely nothing wrong in shouting their product from the roof tops. Such a massive PR stunt would presumably have potential customers queuing at their door with possible up front payments that the company could use to accelerate the production programme. This all depends of course if the product is as good as we are lead to believe.

As a separate issue, can anyone advise how to post under a new heading instead of by way of reply to a previous post.

Anyone else feel that a share consolidation would benefit PHE being taken more seriously. There are now over 1.6 billion shares in the company, an amazing amount. I appreciate any consolidation does not in itself make the company worth more, but the number of shares at 1.6 billion is a micky mouse figure.
