Another competitor gets in before AFC in what was (and possibly still is) one of their main target counties.

AFC stated several years ago that they were well ahead in the fuel cell race, looks like they don't like the heavy going as much as some.

Also saw the Country File programme and although already aware of the biggest plastic dump at Killingholme (not too far from where I live) I had not realised the massive problem all over the country.

The company mentioned in the programme, although not a direct competitor to PHE as it recycles, is yet another company that could reduce the plastic waste stockpile, so in a way it is an indirect competitor.

There will always be a case of unrecyclable plastics so there is room for both, but the more plastics that new technologies are able to recycle the less for PHE.

The all important timeline for PHE is that first up and running DMG system, once that shows the world what can be done to depose of plastics without leaving pollution and with an end product, there should be no stopping the company from multiple world wide units.

I took this from a report after the November ruling, 'Both POW and CPRE said they are both considering whether to appeal the rulings.' So whilst it is highly unlikely they will appeal the ruling, it appears they and their legal team think they can.

Won't go on about this as I do not want to distract from the main discussion areas, but I would like an update on exactly where things are re Dunsfold, and that includes AFC's continuance.

Meant to add that the decision to appeal again would be to the number of dwellings, because as you say, they appear to have admitted defeat as to the application itself.

Thanks for that. I was in foreign lands in Nov and did not follow the thread much.

We still need a timeline as to how long they have to decide to appeal again or not, it can't be too long.

Anyone know how long they have to appeal the courts decision.

Probably nothing at all to do with the recent rises in the SP but it appears that Guildford company designs run by Gordon Murray are hoping to extend their premises at Dunfold Park. The company already have 2 premises, one at Dunsfold and the other at Shelford and are wishing to consolidate both to Dunsfold.

As one of the objections to the planning application of housing was lack of work opportunities for new residents, this factory would increase the labour opportunities adding to those factories, businesses already in situ.

Be nice if they could be linked to the AFC energy system that would be tied into the housing development proposed.

I also found an article relating to Capt Bob the main leader of the objection group to the proposed planning application saying he has given up as 'the fight is over'. Although he stated that in November, after the last court hearing, it probably shows how the case went.

Surely a decision by the court should be made public soon.

Sometimes these very small sells/buys are as I understand it a residue from a previous arranged sell/buy order.

Those even smaller sells/buys that you sometimes but very rarely see (sometimes of just 1 share) are test sells/buys by the market to test the system.

Agree it's nice to see a couple of 100k buys but it's only around £5,000 cost and it's the offers leading the charge so I put it down to weekend coming and some wanting to be in or increase their holdings for Monday.

When I see a really big buy or a string of 100K ones, I will start to get exited.

I have a feeling that we are not far off a good news RNS, trouble is I have had that feeling so often, I am thinking of getting it looked at.

Buying low, selling high is what we all wish to do, the problem being is hitting the lows to buy and the highs to sell.

I have lost count of the posts I have seen right over the last 5 to 7 years advising or suggesting that the time to buy had come as the sp could not possibly get lower, and yet it constantly did.

I increased my holding several times on these dips believing that the bottom had come only to see the sp dip ever lower in the following weeks, days.

My personal view is that the bottom at sub 4p has been reached, but unless there is a decent RNS soon, I could be wrong.

I also am like many who are invested in AFC to our own risk limit and even if I believe that now is a buying opportunity, I will not step over my risk limit.

I have been reading RNS's put out by AFC for many a year, with several promising what is either on the cusp or in the near future of being. I have lost count of the promises of what is in the pipeline.

I appreciate and accept that negative posts carry a dull mood into the AFC threads, but AFC have not performed how they have continually promised. Most of these pipeline promises have often just been allowed to disappear into the ether.

What does not produce trust is when RNS's are put out giving timelines which are then not followed up.

The biggest examples are the several companies that we were lead to be interested at least 5 years ago. Several of these companies were named and we were lead to believe they were queuing at the door.

Are these companies still interested, if so a RNS stating so should be released, if they like many investors have lost faith and are no longer interested, again a RNS should be released stating so.

I still have faith but very little.

B&E Padded Surfaces are the worlds biggest suppliers of padded cells, so if you want to hedge your bets!

It is often said correctly that a companies website is their shop window to the world.

If I was one of those potential clients that AFC is always going on about, looking at their web site would give me the impression of a very poorly organised company, apart from being mislead by some of their web based statements.

Their product does look good, but if a company looks disorganised, even just on it's web site, it does not give a positive view of how they can deliver that product.

I have no shares in the company mentioned, I have posted purely because the problem of transporting hydrogen has often been mentioned on the AFC thread. Any improvement in the transport area re hydrogen has to be good for AFC.

The company claims it has determined how to stabilize hydrogen in a liquid form that is approximately 60% water. This make the fuel easy to transport and store, eradicating one of the primary reasons why hydrogen has not yet taken off as a clean alternative fuel.
