You are allowed to defer TR1 s if you notify LSE with the intention of repeated purchasing over a period of time. You obviously have to then actually buy as much as you indicate or else you’re forced to TR1 sooner. All very odd but perhaps he’s a pi that just wants enough shares to prevent Gino and Russ waltzing off into the land of private equity together. Or maybe this guy is the potential new owner they’ve been working for to bring the company down to this level so he could get his hands on all these shares. This and 39% give him control of the company pretty much.

Forward selling for the placing everyone knows will come if the Resolutions are approved. Looking like the placing might be at about .4p..?

Right now my feeling is this hidden consortium working hand in hand with PH and the Company Directors won’t want the hassle of administration so at some point very soon, once the 400m shares have been gifted to said party, there will be a low ball offer to take it private. I think that may end up being around the 1p or 1.5p mark or else the FCA are going to smell a rat and take a closer look. If it’s really something stupid like.25p or .5p I don’t think they’ll get away with it. But at 1.5p there will be many who just accept it and run with at least something left. Gutting and totally appalling this kind of thing is allowed to happen within the rules and that there isn’t more protection for ordinary pis from asset heists like this on the stock market . Fingers crossed everyone.

Or will one strike out on its own to get its hands on P140 to hopefully develop it and then destroy that market for their competitors??? Sooo intrigued to see what happens. I was in EUA all those years ago from .4p and watched it in less than a year climb (albeit with a few months suspended) all the way to just over 40p. At the top I had £1.8m! Should have sold then. BAC was another excellent one. ARB for a while too. I see IMM as another serious wealth creator. ALRT too, although may take a bit longer but it’s moving up incredibly quickly.

When the first deal is announced for (imho) CIDP this will do 100% as that’s going to be confirmation that serious discussions are taking place. It will just be the warm up act to the main event .

The longer it holds around this level the better as far as I’m concerned. Gives me more time to load up from other stocks. If GDR doesn’t actually go bust and can be turned around then I’ll take that and pile it into here so if we have to wait until the end of Sept for news from IMM I’ll actually be fine with that. CMRS also due a wee spike soon as drilling results due in the next week or so.

Maybe you’ve already decided to stay in whatever happens. But you DO have options right now. Be sensible is all I’ll say ie don’t risk everything.

Ok so does it not seem odd that PH cd end up with 49% of the company just at a time when the nominal value of the company is so low? It would give it a controlling stake and if they made an offer of 1.5p a share and the Directors supporting a bid then share would be told to accept it or risk losing out altogether.

I’m fascinated to see how this all plays out. I guess many would think a buyout at 1.5p - I am fairly certain they don’t have to pay the highest price in the 12 months without taking into account the various placings (more’s the pity or else even my paltry £4.7k would give me over £30k back) - would be a ‘good’ result from the current situation. My gripe is that from some way off the Directors have decided to put the company towards this distressed position and enable something like this to happen. Hope we all end up walking away from this with something.

Sorry Stephen but I was in another stock where a similar situation arose and I too thought exactly the Ames as you but it came as a nasty shock that all the efforts of the BoDs to get cheaper and cheaper placings away resulted in a much lower than anyone expected being made. And it was accepted!

Yes but Stephen, I forgot, you have to take into account the various placings in the last 12 months that have occurred and the number of shares in issue. Owing to what the Directors have done these last 12 months that lowers the price they have to offer significantly. I would not think much more than 1p at current rate. Maybe 1.35p - 1.5p but certainly doesn't have to be as high as 2.97p sadly.

Yes Jimi and that's the main reason I haven't sold up completely. I am not expecting anything back the shares I've got left but you never know. I suspect many would be both amazed and delighted with 2.93p per share now after all that has happened but personally I bought in hoping for far more. Hey ho. We will all learn more very soon.

I am still gutted to think these Directors were in on this play but it does happen with such small companies that are powerless and desperate for cash all the time. Hopefully everyone will have a chance, even if just a small one, to walk away with some of their investment back but don't hold your breath.

£10? What on earth would that buyout figure equate to then? £2.5bn? I'm optimistic but surely that's a tad far fetched? I really could imagine £1 though :)

And finally from me, to answer someone's question, I have 1.3m shares left after selling just over half of my holding. It's only worth £4770 now so if it disappears it's not big deal. I've already made up some of the GDR losses in IMM, ALRT and CMRS, all of which I've slowly been trying to buy as low as possible for the last few weeks, all once I realised GDR will not survive in its current form and thus of no benefit to the many who have supported and funded the company for several years.

Rookie, 10x for a licensing deal would be about right I think, but I don't think Tim really wants that. I think he's chasing a total buyout which would surely be over £1bn+? 40x from where we were this morning. I have to sit down thinking about this.
