There are groups of these AIM outfits who pay these unsecured loans to each other And it’s a complete ruse. They never get repaid. At least Klarian are going to make Ctai share holders feel much better by telling them what they’ve spent the money on And how well it’s doing as a result. But ctAI will never see any of that money come back and it hasn’t secured any shares or equity in Klarian. Just dollops of interest and fees IF they were to pay it back. Looks great on paper. Only it will never come. Sorry.

Nah I’m out now. Think this could fall as low as .1p now with nothing concrete to support it. The directors have seen fit to very generously give away £450,000 with no guarantee of getting it back, and showing enough the happy recipient doesn’t seem to want to give it back, but there is nothing we can do about it. Wtf were the Catenai bozos (Directors) doing handing out unsecured loans in the first place? To anyone, let alone a private company that can hide itself from view. I’m done with this before I lose any more . Think this is now heading to be wound up or another changed identity once the current cash runs out. They can’t surely try to pull off another raise having been shown to have thrown away money on the Alludium Irish scam..? This is just nasty AIM stuff, absolutely typical and no way of now rescuing one’s investment.

An unsecured loan means CTAI has no means of recouping the investment thrown at Klarian. No shares, no options or warrants, just a ‘here you go, have £450k and do with it what you will. Be nice to have it back one day but we know how these things work’. Disgraceful

Blx! CtAI directors availed themselves of half a million quid from CtAI bank balance. Should have followed my gut instinct here. I suspect they have no intentions of ever passing it back, rather they will morph CtAI into yet another entity and simply repeat the operation again. The new entity will then find itself handing over cash to Klarian again. This should absolutely be stopped and investigated by the FCA . It’s like legalised daylight robbery!

Klarian either can’t or wont pay back the loan. No, that’s not bad news at all. Klarian Directors have got to pay for their winter skiing trips somehow after all. Much better to see all that cash in someone else’s pocket isn’t it. Next thing here could well be another fund raise.

This is a can-kicking exercise by the Ctai directors involved with Klarian, basically telling us they’d prefer to hold on to the cash in Klarian than put it back into Ctai any time soon. Rob Clegg will simply give a bs presentation that provides feasible explanations for Klarian not coughing up. Why Ctai - a fat fat smaller entity than Klarian - needed to hand over an unsecured loan is already dodgy in the extreme. These directors will have their monthly salaries one way or another. Think we’ve been duped by these dudes. They’ve done this repeatedly in former incarnations of ctAI. Bugger.

Are CTAI share holders being shafted by its Directors, who also happen to be Directors of Klarian Ltd? Something not feeling right about this now. Starting to think that guy Mitch was making sense after all.

We should definitely have heard about the Klarian payment by now. Slightly concerning

The company is sh.t. Track record speaks for itself. However, they have by some miracle ended up with what i think could be a decent investment in Weardale but there are lots of factors at play and all are totally out of Marechale's control. Actually that's most likely a good thing. I'm hanging in here because of the following possibilities:

A) some entity steps up and makes an offer for Weardale. Weardale has no money to fund anything and is totally reliant on Govt Grants and/or private funders coming in. No progress over the last year - in spite of being granted local permission to build the Plant AND lithum prices surging almost 100% - means the value is still on the floor. Easy pickings for someone me thinks. Quite likely.

B) An entity does a RTO into MAC and effectively buys the 8% stake in Weardale on the cheap before the real value has been realised. Such an offer gets said entity a quick and cheap listing on LSE without having to do expensive IPO admin and THEN attempt to buy into Weardale. Highly likely and probably what the CEO and Chairman are hoping for. So am I. This could be a very quick and serious win for share holders.

C) there isn't a C. If neither of the above happens then it's going to be an even longer wait for this to come good. Without Govt Grants it might never actually get off the ground, or rather out of the ground.

I’m flabbergasted that Gino and Ross were reappointed. These two directors attempted to devalue the share to the very maximum and then take advantage of it, not in any way shape or form aligning their own interests with those of ordinary shareholders. It’s a disgrace but I guess it’s what you get with an AIM company And directors who are only in it for themselves. I guess with DN now being on the board at least shellers can be more confident going forwards that their interests will be looked after but… It’s never a guarantee.

Binary investment for me. If Tim is (for once) telling the truth about all these conversations etc then a deal should be imminent and those with large holdings here will make a small fortune. If the CEO has been true to form however then any such deal might be far more modest than many hope for. By March/April the share price could be x2 or it could easily be x 10 or even x20.

If it’s agreed trades then it can ONLY be good news. If this continues then my feeling - don’t want to mention guts after so much Christmas feasting - is that Ketan is negotiating trades between parties. Big question is: who?

Let’s think about this logically. If there was a major holder with loads of shares and you thought this was going to fly then why sell? Even more pertinent, why buy? Could it be that Lanstead have more shares up their sleeve and are, knowing they have 70m warrants to benefit from once a deal is done, might they now be letting their last few million shares go at a generous price to help attract that hitherto elusive potential partner build a stake. Mad? Just trying to think why on earth anyone would buy loads of shares if a deal isn’t truly on the cards and also who on earth would sell. It’s a mystery

Yes, AIM is horrendous but in this instance I’d take this as a good sign that mms are keeping the price low and allowing mates to buy in.

You take your chances with AIM. It can be - and mostly is - a rip off and place where the pros operate purely to rinse retail of cash. Company Directors tell lies or dress up stories to fleece retail, reward themselves with hugely inflated salaries, and deliver nothing for years. However, pick the one in a thousand that is genuine and you can make a lot of money very quickly . Just don’t ever believe it’s a level playing field though and operates fairly between pis and pros. It doesn’t.

And as I say that there appear to be signs of life here.

I wonder if any of the participants in the latest fundraise in October are getting a bit twitchy? Total of £200k at a lovely discount price of 1.5p but the price of lithium has almost doubled since then and not a flicker of interest in either Weardale or Marechale’s investment in it.

Nick Wells isn’t allowed to sell his £50k worth for 12 months so if there’s still nothing happening here come October I think that will spell the end of this sad little outfit.
