Lithium carbonate up 8.5% in a day. Surely this will impact the level of interest in Weardale. It’s mad that there is such a huge resource up north and it’s just sitting in the ground.

SMM spot price of lithium spodumene up again by nearly 7% and taking the price quickly toward the $2,000 mark. In October it was still about $800. Extraordinary recovery and really shows no signs of stopping so I’m thinking $3,000 is not out of the question by the end of H1 this year. What will that do for Weardale’s prospects? Marechale has I think just got incredibly lucky with this particular investment. Everything else they’re absolutely hopeless with but Weardale could well be their saviour. And mine!

The board can’t keep offers under their hat though whilst weighing up which one they think suits them best. The moment any offer lands it must be RNSd - unless the Board considers it derisory and dismisses it out of hand as unrealistic.

I’m intrigued to see how the Avion issue is dealt with. Ideally a major pharma will simply buy them out as well as IMM of course. Probably too much to hope for. Deal could be announced in late February ? Let’s hope so.

People have just got to be more realistic imo. I certainly don’t agree with OTM’s modus operandi or his overly cautious predictions BUT to me he has a far more sensible expectation than some here. IMM will NOT see a massive buyout or major move from anyone in the short term. It could/might achieve a licensing deal but, as has been pointed out repeatedly by myself and others, people need to consider the elephant in the room- Avion!

Yes Crazyyear, but the phase III trial a) needs to be paid for, b) actually implemented and carried out to results (a year or two?) and c) be a success.

The notion that some big pharma is going to pay £billions for it before all of that is just idiocy. A licensing deal is the most realistic outcome in the short term but…who ever wants it badly enough is going to have to not only pay tiny IMM for it but also buy Avion out for its rights to the US market.

St Martins - I would urge you to look very carefully at the guys who are associated with this company in its previous incarnations. It won’t make for pleasant reading but it might well save you a ‘Bandle’ (?)

Some serious manipulation happening here to help certain parties exit at higher prices. I wonder how low this might crash to in the event Alludium announce only a single customer in February. Or worse they can’t confirm any and they put out a delaying statement. Could be very damaging.

The conference is the perfect time to announce a deal. The patent was filed on 1st Sept so that’s 4 and a half months for any potential partners to do some DD and make their assessments. If P140 is now ‘truly groundbreaking’ then surely it wouldn’t take any major, with huge resources, to do the investigative work they require to make a decision. If a deal is announced then great. If not, then surely people will begin to question - yet again - how much the CEO was over stating the case for P140 and whether or not he can be trusted on anything.

It irritated me no end when he recently said in an interview that the delay to a deal ‘is actually good news for share holders’. It’s only Good news if there is a major deal, bigger than he was hoping for originally by end of 2025. And yet he has repeatedly stated they’re talking of a licensing deal rather than a full buy out, which is obviously not as interesting to share holders, certainly not in the short term at least. This will be the 3rd major Conference in a year they have attended since announcing 2025 as ‘The Year of delivery’. No deal over the next week and I think we’ve just seen this CEO yet again fail to deliver what he’s promised: a deal! Of any description.

Got a strong sense of Deja vu here. Back in October they attended the Bio- Europe Conference. It was just after all the silly interviews and pretty much every msg posted here in the last couple of days was posted back in Oct. Of course nothing happened. I’ve don’t think the recent RNS announcing a delay was just to buy a couple of extra weeks so I’m afraid I disagree with OSD and many others. Yeah it kind of makes sense but we were told there was no way they could get a deal all tied up by year end. So by Jan 14th seems overly optimistic to me. Think there will be a deal at some point But another couple of months into the ‘new year’ perhaps?
