Yes, definitely. The full payment is for about £610k which is about 20% of Ctai’s mcap, so it’s a significant sum for them and as such will have to be RNSd. Bigger question is what will the CEO do once he has some funds in the kitty. Hopefully they just sit tight and can be as patient as share holders have had to be. Car crash of a company but hopefully this one investment will go some way to redemption?? Let’s see.

I’mnot gloomy! I said I DO expect a deal. Just nothing like some here will post about Ona. Daily basis. I think I’m being realistic rather than gloomy. I also think once the sp has dropped to a more realistic value than its current level this will be an excellent investment opportunity.

RNS of Nov 24th telling us of a delay. Tim in an interview it became obvious they weren’t going to conclude a deal by year end. I don’t think that can be interpreted as ‘we’re going to miss the deadline by a couple of weeks…’ He said discussions are complicate and time consuming so I’m expecting a deal of some sort by perhaps end of April.

The Avion issue imo is NOT a +ve as some here would have you believe. It just complicates matters and means negotiations are at least three-way. That’s a whole load more potential for any deal to be scuppered.

I DO think a deal will be struck eventually. Just no idea as to whether or not we will be looking at one for licensing etc and for c£100m or less.

Tim said he is looking for the best fit for the future. Frankly I think Kay share holders would be happier if he just sold it lock, stock and barrel and let the grown ups take P140 forwards. It deserves far better than to have some grubby second hand car salesman type dipping their fingers in the till whenever the issue of money comes to the fore. Sell it, take yr retirement rewards and allow a proper pharmaceutical company to realise the true potential of P140 - if it’s really as good as the CEO says it is.

The uk govt’s approach to the whole issue of critical minerals is frankly bizarre. They know it’s a critical issue. They tell us they know it’s a critical issue. They then spend over a year coming up with a policy and put £50m toward helping the issue. It’s like saying we known you need a new hospital so we’re going to help by buying a box of plasters to get you started. There, we’re totally with it and being supportive. Well done us for being clever. Hospital takes 15 yrs to build and ends up being obsolete even before it’s finished because it’s taken so long and the problem issue has developed into a much bigger problem in the mean time. Ooh time for some more committee meetings followed by more Advisory Papers to be published in another year’s time.

The crisis has been ongoing for the best part of the last 10 yrs and China has been all over it. The uk has patted itself on the back for putting £50m into an issue that is going to worth many many billions and will help secure the Nation’s infrastructure. Action is needed now. Today. Last week! Every chance you’re on the money Hamila. Just depends how badly a major player wants P140 and what they’re willing to pay Avion for the rights to it in the US. It won’t be cheap.

Wow OSD - you think I’ve got no commercial sense! And yet you fail to see Avion as a stumbling block to a smooth deal. That’s just plain idiocy to not recognise the difficulty but actually see it as an improvement. It’s you that is dangerous to listen to here. You just see big £ signs and nothing else. Just not sure. Can’t be 100% confident of anything because of Tim’s habit of over egging the pudding and Avion’s involvement. Anyone who stakes a lot of their money here purely on what the CeO says is taking a massive risk imo

I listened to the Sunday Roast interview again from a month ago and frankly, if there is no deal by Easter or another delay there will be a mass exodus here. The number of times Tim said the delay was ‘good news’ and the level of interest was a pleasant surprise, I think he could be in trouble if no deal at all transpires. It was all about the ‘best fit’, but to be honest IMM are in no position to actually play hard ball as there is no way they can fund a phase III trial on their own. They have cash but nothing like enough to take P140 through to commercialisation. If any deal is offered we should really hear about it, even if the BOD wants to reject it.

Surely there has to be either a modest licensing deal - due to the added complication of Avion - or a full on buyout from a major eg AZ. If anything Tim has said about P140 is true then someone somewhere will want it and will pay for it.

If nothing at all happens and Tim tries to pull the ‘deal delayed due to massive interest’ again I think he could end up with the FCA knocking on his door. He’s pulled the trigger too publicly to attract retail investors far and wide, both in Sept and then again one month ago for this now to all fizzle out.

What’s it gonna be then? 3 options as far as I’m concerned.

A) modest licensing deal of £100m?

B) massive buyout for £bn?

C) excuse after excuse of delay/complications/best fit can’t be found?

I think we will hear by end of February, but the news will be of further delay. I think the Avion elephant-in-the-room is possibly what’s causing such complications.

I guess one possible outcome is that a major pharma will decide they want P140 to themselves and get fed up with constant back and forth over the Avion issue and just wallop a silly amount of money down on the table such that neither IMM or Avion can afford to refuse.

Won’t increase at all if there’s no plan put forward to get it out of the ground, irrespective of the market price or how much of it there is. Govt needs a shake to arise from this slumber!

Rookie is very obviously in very deep here and just can’t contemplate this going wrong. Sadly the CEO is wholly unreliable in delivering on his very many positive predictions and this could cost him dearly if Tim has done his usual trick.

Just be super cautious here. Now is most definitely NOt the time to buy in imo. I think there could well be more delays and possibly even a placing which could see this all the way back to 2p. Could be a small deal on the horizon but talk of major pharmas and huge deals is for the birds

If anyone held here from the recent RNS delaying a deal and listened to the rampers confidently stating all is well and this will be fine, well, on paper you’ve lost nearly 50% of your investment here. That’s how good they have been since Nov. And yet they STILL maintain they are right and this is all nailed on.

It wasn’t stated in any RNS that DD was being carried out by anyone or had even commenced. Fact. With an operator like the CEO at the helm you have to be prepared for him to speak utter blx and ride the waves. I would say there is a small chance of a deal by spring 2026 but would not be in the slightest bit surprised if it was only a small single deal and that there is a placing just before it. You just know Tim is going to come up with something that pops everyone’s balloon but he’ll tell you ever so sincerely that it’s all for the best and in the best interests of share holders eg

Anyway, we’ll be in the 4s heading into 2026 and I suspect quite a bit lower as more and more people realise the posts saying they ‘know’ major pharmas are doing DD are just bs.
