Oh no…not shortly, please!!

Once again BoD seem happy to keep share holders in the dark. They must know the reason for suspension. The feel good factor that this might finally be coming to some kind of conclusion at long last is fast wearing off! Rather a sense of foreboding is descending…. Come on BOD let us have it, whether it be brilliant or rubbish news.

Something is afoot but as always the EUA BOD are going to keep us in suspense. The sp has been steady recently so absolutely no reason to suspend unless something major is about to happen that would cause instability. That suggests we won’t have to wait for weeks on end to find out what on earth is going on. It’s frustrating that yet again we’re left guessing but that’s what it means to be an EUA share holder. No option but to sit and wait/hope the reason for this latest suspension is a good one.

If it is a sale then I hope it’s in no way similar to the AMC announced recently. It was a shocker. Pis shafted.

I used to have a lot of shares here but sold out in the end at a loss once the war broke out. Ben one hell of a ride these last few years but now looking forward to it all being over one way or another. Hope no one has over stretched themselves.

I wonder when the announcement will arrive…shortly??? Ok I’ll get my coat.

Still here Sprout but been away for a few days in Germany. I had to take a PCR test every two days in order to be allowed to go into a building where I was giving a couple of talks. 119euros each test! Whilst I was there the company announced all PCR test requirements are coming to an end. GDR are definitely too late with their PoC product but have huge potential in AIHL. I’m still basically positive on this stock but nervous of Budd’s inexperience in commercialising products. It’s not what he does. He seems to have hired a sales team but then handed over GDR products to distribution companies.

I reduced my holding last week by 20% offloading at about 23.4 but still have over 1m shares. I’m over weight here (as well as in other ways) but definitely think it’s going to have another ratios increase soon. I’m expecting CTDA news this month but don’t think that will provide the springboard the sp needs. Going to be news of AIHL adoption by NHS Trusts and perhaps news of more serious interest from the US and other territories. Good news should see us into the 40s but Budd does have a habit of coming up with news later in the day. Time will tell.

Laughed a lot when catching up on posts at someone requesting we all post nice messages that are positive - or else they’re BS. Very balanced and mature. I’m ask for being reasonably optimistic but it’s pointless to just ignore possible warning signs.

Anyway, here’s to a good week in which, even without news, we hopefully creep back towards 30p.

Lim, whilst I share your frustration with the long, long wait for news, and I agree this is not going to jump in one bound from 7p to 70p, I think we won’t have everything we’re waiting for in terms of news in one go. The BOD are keeping their heads low until it’s safe to announce news without attracting unwanted attention. They will want to release news bit by bit and rebuild the share price to pre war levels before announcing news of any asset sale. So, I can see the sp hitting 70p again but not in one leap. As always with EUA it’s a case of being patient. Until there’s an end to the fighting I think the BOD will remain silent.

I think the sp is being left to fall to a certain point then someone’s going to jump in and scoop up as much as they can and vote for the deal. Who, I couldn’t possibly say, but the best thing we can do is stay strong and NOT allow them to get hold of the shares cheaply in order to have a huge share of the view for peanuts. Hold and at least make them pay 1.5p rather than just a penny. GLA

US population is roughly 5 times that of the UK. Unless they have a genomic mutant rate double the UK’s then the market is 5x larger in the US. Not 10x! I want to be positive but the stupid incessant ramping irritates the heck out of me.

What we agree on is that there’s huge potential for AIHL but it won’t happen any time soon, especially if the NHS itself who co developed the test with GDR are in no hurry to start using it.

What would be best for GDR now is for NICE to issue either ‘best practice’ or ‘standard practice’ guidance for the NHS. I don’t know how that happens or what time scale to expect. If anyone else has any idea I’d be happy to learn of it.

Sorry face but I’m not sure what you think will make it bounce, unless news of some sort lands. CTDA won’t now have any impact imo and I’m very doubtful there will be any sales in Spain or indeed any of the other countries they had distribution agreements in place for. 7%+ down today might be a bit over done as the markets across the board were truly awful today. Think mms will be fine with taking this back down to late teens tomorrow and then hopefully some news on adoption of AIHL by someone somewhere (anywhere!) will finally see us start heading back north. Agree with all of you that £1 is for the birds now. Would be lovely to get back to 30p and stay there…

the biggest buyers of such assets are not the west but China and other Russians. Why are you keen to accept this deal that guarantees share holders nothing? Odd

Moneymaker - if the curret geo political situation is so damaging to any deal then why not simply wait for anther 6 - 12 months or even 24 months for things to improve and hopefully peace be restored. Markets will correct and adapt to the new situation and then AMC could be sold for more. Why sell now at the worst possible time? Better to shut up shop and just keep the lights on than go for this route.

RY has hardly proved to be trustworthy or capable of taking the proposed funds and creating a success elsewhere! He's a career AIM operator and has imho no intention of ever doing anything other than making himself rich. He's a smoke and mirrors specialist - only he's not even very good at that.

Not sure but if memory serves me right it's 50% for an outright purchase offer but higher if it's a scheme arrangement, such as has been tabled this morning. I think the higher vote required to approve this deal is 75%. Happy to be corrected.

I think now the deal is out in the open there may well be others who will come to the table as it's not difficult to improve on this deal. Potanin may be watching with interest and now he knows what he's up against, swoop in and offer $75m outright and have it done and dusted in 2 months. He may also want to buy AMC outright - fine by me - and in which case the BOD could not decide how the purchase price was dished out. It would be a straight forward pay out to share holders. Because RY and others don't have large holdings in AMC I think this is why they've agreed to such an appalling plan. It allows them to syphon off chunks of money over a long period of time and distribute the payments how they see fit ie into their own pockets and offer share holders almost nothing. It's AIM and it's a scam. I took my chance buying into this and am of course now regretting it. I should have seen the writing on the wall (in fact i think i did) when the sp only reached 3 - 4p when the original possible deal was announced. If it looks like a rat and smells like a rat then it's most likely ...a rat!

Robin Young in my personal view is a well dodgy wide boy and should be investigated as he's clearly not operating in the interests of share holders and in this RNS is now trying to intimidate share holders into accepting this deal by suggesting AMC can't afford to take it forward without dilution and fund raises. That is probably true but...the deal he has proposed is designed to benefit himself and other Directors over a period of 15 years and circumnavigate the need (or at best minimise) to make payments to ordinary share holders. He hopes for a regular decent payout and that ordinary share holders will give up and sell shares at a loss, which he may well decide to pick up once the sp is well and truly on the floor.

It's a rat. And a big one!

If a 'no' vote went through then the sp would fall further and RY and co would have to go back to the negotiating table and either come up with something much improved or they just go back to what they were doing before ie nothing. Far too much time and effort for them and potential buyers to go through everything again and come back with a slightly better offer as that would most likely be voted down too.

Only have 850k shares but will vote no. Would be happy with an exit price of 4p too. Fell sorry for those with higher averages.

For once I agree with Kammy. I’d rather hold, vote the deal down and prevent RY and pals from walking off with millions in their pockets having scammed ordinary share holders. We need to force an improved offer at the very, very least!

.. perhaps the fact this offer is so awful makes it far more likely the offer will either have to be improved or someone else will think they can easily better it and come to the table. I don’t think RY has the ability to get this through as it is so having calmed down since first reading the RNS I think patience will see a development of some kind that will improve matters for share holders. Potanin (NN) could offer €75m cash payable now and we’d be better off. He could easily afford to do that and just sit on the asset for years until such time he can mine it cost effectively or simply sell it on at a huge profit and when the war is long over and forgotten.

But only $60m will be paid it to share holders and that’s in 5 Years time - and even then their CEO stated we ‘anticipate’ this being paid to share holders as dividends so there isn’t even a guarantee. Given the CEO’s track record of bare faced lies I think share holders know they have to vote against it and attempt to push for an improved deal. As it is no one has any reason to invest in AMC. And there in lies the problem with investing in entities whose assets lie in Russia. Deceptive Directors can use smoke and mirrors to their hearts content to obscure what is really going on. Sounds familiar…

Just heard 35% increase in the tarriff on any platinum and palladium imports from Russia. PGMs are not immune from the sanctions war. I think EUA will be sold anyway to a Chinese or Russian buyer (Potanin must be the favourite) but let’s hope we don’t see a deal structured in the same way as AMC presented today. Total and utter con and their BOD look intent on preventing share holders walk away with anything remotely resembling profit!
