The major concern for a GDR share holders (as opposed to traders) is that progress on sales could be so slow that competitors will spring up either with better or cheaper products that do the same thing. If we don’t generate revenue soon and another raise is needed then GDR can easily start going backwards. It’s at a crucial stage post in its transition into a commercial entity. If they don’t get it right it will quickly return to being just an R &D outfit whose market relevance will fade to nothing, as it was before the pandemic. It has an amazing opportunity right now, not in another year’s time. Get it right and we’ll all be happy with a share price of well in excess of 40 - 50p (£s are for the dreamers and rampers). Get it wrong and this will slump back to pre-pandemic levels of sub 10p.
I hope Budd is sweating right now, not with worry but with hard work in efforts to get GDR products out there in some shape or form. A handful of Tweets are not sufficient on their own.
Monday will be interesting because of IHC investor presentation but I don’t think GDR’s AIHL is going to feature particularly heavily as for them the amount of revenue they’ll receive by way of commission is relatively small compared to their annual earnings. GDR’s revenue on the other hand if AIHL is sold throughout the Uk, US and EU….? Hmmm we’re on a knife edge here.
