Just realised my buy of 50001 shares went down as a sell. Happens far too often with this stock and There’s no excuse for it. Hey Ho. Some news and we’ll be well on our way past 2.5p

Bid lowered by 20% in two days on no news. Come on VDTK you need to be put out more regular comms. The extended periods of silence don’t do anyone any favours. Commercial growth in the second half of 2022 was mentioned several times in the last report. I do hope we’re not going to have to wait until November/Dec to hear anything.

Come on, let’s have news on the holiday sites installations. Just something to say things are moving forward.

Website updates, Twitter posts, mentions of AIHL in numerous articles: none of it amounts to anything without sales. Pure and simple. Sell something, RNS it, create interest/excitement and watch the sp fly.

Stay silent for several months, sell nothing, come up with platitudes and excuses and watch the sp stagnate or worse plummet.

Which are we closer to right now? Truth is nobody has a clue due to lack of clarity and communications from the company. That makes this a hugely risky investment at the moment. Great shame. Great products. Great missed opportunity. Great failure by Budd. He simply has to be replaced imho

OMG! this guy is an absolutely f…ing disaster! What on Earth is Budd doing appointing someone who has clearly shown he can’t do anything in this arena???? This is a f…king joke people! Someone with such a disastrous track record isn’t hired for a good reason. That appointment really stinks and I’m afraid makes me shudder to think what the hell Budd thinks he’s doing right now!

We’ll be interesting for sure but I can’t help think about the excitement surrounding the Beckman tie up and then staggered to see it did absolutely nothing. I’ll keep my feet on the ground with GDR but am still hopeful it will come good by autumn 2023.

They must be confident if they’re talking on new staff. Here’s hoping. Think we’re due some updates any time now.

You mean something like Beckman?? That went really well for GDR. Thing is if there is big partner out there with the necessary clout and wonga to skip queues they’re going to want a pound of flesh for their involvement. The problem is GDR are now known to be absolutely rubbish at getting their products to market so actually you could be right and there is an organisation that could lean very heavily on GDR for helping them out. Either way it’ll be another week full of hope and belief and by Friday we’ll know of the wait for something/anything just goes on and on. Right now I’d prefer a buyout for 40p as I don’t think GDR can realise its potential without bringing a big partner on board and is ending up with another loss of dilution.

The instant there is a whiff of a sales contract this is going to fly. And one could come from absolutely anywhere! Just my humble opinion.

Schlum - do you know that for sure? It would be far more beneficial for VDTK to keep production in-house but I agree the warehouse in Italy is small. It all depends on whether they have the means to extend those premises and how much financial clout will be brought to the table with the banks once they have a contract or two in the mitts. All very interesting.

The likelihood is that this is a good old fashioned pump and dump. Your endless posts suggesting a positive attitude is all we need has done wonders for the sp over the last several months and with one single rise you're on here full of yourself as some self appointed guardian for GDR holders. ..is that it looks like the mms have put a line in the sand as to what the real value of GDR is at the moment. two trades worth just under £27 moved the sp up from 17.5 to 18.24. That suggests to me the mms are not going to allow pis to load up at a lower level than this, at least for a while or until we have further news. If we can maintain this level for another 6 to 8 weeks until we are due to receive news I think that will bode well for what happens there after. Just my opinion but holding at this level on absolutely no volume is a good thing. The slightest hint of positive news would send the sp soaring over 20p but really don't believe Budd will say or do anything that might encourage that to happen. I suspect he had his knuckles rapped very badly when he put out false news about contracts worth millions of £ that were not yet over the line. Once they all failed he was left looking like he'd deliberately pumped the stock and I even wonder if the FSA might have sent him a warning. That would explain the extended periods of silence over the last year and a half or so.

Let's just hope when he does say something it's got something concrete to back it up rather than the usual waffle.

Let’s say an initial contract for £3m followed by a more major commitment of £15m. That ought to do the trick. That’s just for the Middle East mind.

Depends on what that nugget looks like though… if it is more jam tomorrow and talk of future contracts but with nothing concrete behind them (we’ve had several of those before which all came to zero - and caused massive spikes) then I’ll be banging the drum to oust him too.

If he announced 100 NHS hospitals taking up the AIHL machines and sales of Covid PoC kits worth several million from OMA , UAE, Spain and Portugal then I guess I’d be happy. I know which is more likely however…

Garonne- the same thought had occurred to me a while ago but the lack of any volume suggests not. If anyone was sniffing around there would be at least a little accumulation one could detect. For quite some while this has been stagnant and prior to that it was susceptible to crazy spikes in which money disappeared almost as quickly as it arrived.

Personally I hope there isn’t someone talking to Budd and suppressing news as that could result in a low bid offer. I’d prefer some positive sales news and watch the sp climb to 30 - 35p and stay there and then…receive an offer to buy GDR for perhaps as much as 60 - 70p.

Agree regarding the future importance and relevance of genomic sequencing and GDR’s growing presence and reputation in this arena. Can only be good but as we’ve seen (the repeated long periods of silence) it’s going to take years not months. Budd isn’t doing the company any favours in the area it so badly needs success ie commercialisation. If they can get rid of him and attract someone with more experience and a real go-getter (the salary would suggest that’s a given!) then the sky is the limit. With Budd at the helm however I fear we are very much Earth bound for the foreseeable.

Rafts - are you giving Guy a sabbatical year off then?
