RE: New products3 Aug 2022 10:38
Jimi - I share your concerns. With regards to sales I think if there was any inkling of sales then Budd would be peppering the market with RNSs. People glibly state GDR have £6m in the bank. They don’t any more. £400k per month for running costs so that figure of £6m can almost be reduced to £4m as it’s nearly 6 months since the raise at 25p. GDR need about £2m in order to get necessary approvals to sell AIHL in the US. Positive news would allow GDR to plan for the future and continue development on all their new products, go ahead with US AIHL application and keep the lights on. There can be no reason news of sales would be withheld. So my suspicion is sales are still struggling and that a raise is almost inevitable before Christmas, more like early Sept. That would give Budd enough time to try and get some positive news out by the end of the year to get voters on side for his salary approval. All just my opinion. Question is, at what price will the next raise occur? Last one was at a 40% discount which would mean something like 11 or 12p but I think the market will recognise the quality of GDR’s products so may not be as punitive as last time. That said, the market will be acutely aware of Budd’s singular failure to commercialise a single GDR product to date so who knows?!
The ongoing silence is not encouraging but there could always be a nice surprise. Hope springs eternal…
