What is unacceptable is Budd mentioning something happening within weeks. I can’t now remember what it was even, it’s been several months since his last communication to the market. I’m afraid this is what Budd does: surface for air and try to drop something that re-ignites interest and creates expectation and then disappear for months on end saying nothing until he either needs his salary to be reaffirmed or he is forced to admit that yet again sakes have been far more challenging than anticipated …bla bla bla.
There is one positive thing about the sp dropping - if you believe GDR will eventually enjoy success and significant revenue - and that’s it gives a great buying opportunity! If you believe the sp will one day hit 30p then 15p would give you an amazing profit. Talk of £1etc is cuckoo but come on, 30p from where we are now is definitely achievable with some sales and good news. My feeling, as already stated, is that we have a long wait for news or news of sales so sit tight and wait for the sp to drop and then grab as many as you can. In a year’s time I’m confident GDR will look like a very different company. Before that the only thing you can use as an opportunity is probably the next jam-tomorrow RNS from Budd when he needs 50% + to vote for his continued salary of £300k pa. Seems far too high for what he’s achieved to date and I’d be much happier as a long term holder of his salary was linked to sales success. A guarantee of £200k with a bonus of £100k if he reaches set targets. At the moment there is no incentive for him or the sales team to deliver what the company so badly needs. Another month of no sales? Never mind, here’s your pay check and see you next month for another one…
15p would represent an amazing opportunity and I think many would recognise that and so even if we did drop that low I really don’t think it would be there for very long at all!
Patience will be rewarded here.
