All very interesting but I refuse point blank to ever be excited by the GDR Covid PoC kit again. Budd himself very helpfully told the world it was too expensive for the Indian market. That ship sank ages ago and it's looking like the AIHL ship might turn out to be just a dinghy.
When news dropped in an RNS that we could sell our product in India I think it was later the very same day that Budd told the world the product was too expensive. It was as if a big pharma interested in GDR was desperate for GDR NOT to start selling and become more valuable by establishing itself in a new territory and was leaning over his shoulder telling him to burst the bubble pronto David!

Come on Starres, this is GDR run by a man called David Budd! What DID you expect?

...from Budd I will vote against anything he proposes regarding the next lot of RF funding. He now has to show share holders we have something concrete to get behind rather than just a lot of wishful thinking.

We'll hear from Budd when he needs share holders to vote through the next tranche of funding from RF.

Back in December we were told BODs wanted to work harder to better understand why share holders aren't perhaps fully behind some of the Directors. They've really gone to town thus far in reaching out to us haven't they?!

this should have been a glorious time for GDR but unfortunately I said this once before (although that time I'd predicted the sp might go under 10p and possibly as low as 8p or even 6p) I find myself beginning to believe it this time round too: the company leadership has got things wrong again and is now in trouble regarding future funding because it just doesn't know how to sell anything. Distribution partners are all well and good but there's no guarantee they will sell anything. Budd tells the market the absolute bare minimum he can get away with and so sentiment either surges suddenly on expectation of news or it drops like a stone because he keeps silent for months on end and tells us nothing about what is going on. We're in one of those negative cycles yet again and the sp is going to drop bit by bit over the next few weeks and months as more of us realise Budd's failed yet again to put GDR in a strong position in spite of having strong products.

Please Gilham, replace this dudd CEO and find someone who has some experience of commercialising product. Any product. We simply can't go on throwing £25k every single month at this man who repeatedly delivers nothing for the company.

If the BOD get the IPOs out first I think it's part of a strategy to try and boost the sp before releasing MFC results, which may disappoint. Pure speculation I admit but originally we were expecting results in early 2023. We're now in Q2 and not a peep so I'm of the opinion they know the MFC results are duff and are working manically to try and get something else positive to spin to the market but unfortunately the general market conditions are worse than ever. Very tricky for the BOD to do or say anything positive if they know those results will put a dent in confidence. We were told they would definitely increase their 'understanding' of the geology at Molopo. That would be very nice but won't help boost sentiment one little bit.

Hopefully I'm completely wrong and they're about to announce a JV partner for a discovery of 'massive sulphides' that will be 'transformational' for the company. Anyone remember those words being uttered over and over again? Seem terribly hollow now.

MPeterson - the trouble is no one has any clue what the company is going to try and do over the next few hours and days, let alone weeks and months. It's a nothing investment at the moment. No forecasts of any description, no strategies announced. Not really sure why it exists at this point in time? is the new CFO just going to run it into the ground?

Lloyd- if the sp doesn’t recover to 32p then Riverfort at some point will just be awarded another large amount of shares. Which ever way the cookie crumbles here there will be a way for RF to benefit. That’s why imho it’s not a good finance deal. if Budd stays silent for another 3 months (apart from announcing the drawdown of the £3m from RF) or so, as I’m half expecting, then RF will do even better when it eventually recovers and one day rockets. This initial decline followed by an eventual major recovery means RF can make even more money. I think the next news we’ll hear from Budd will be stating adoption across the NHS is slower than anticipated and so to secure financial stability GDR is accepting another tranche of funding from RF and following this there will then be another extended period of silence.

GDR will come good but I’ve been here long enough to see that Budd isn’t the CEO to make things happen. Nor will he budge though as he’s on a healthy salary of £300k and the stroke market test will eventually be the saving grace of him and GDR. Imho that will be at least 12 months down the line so I see the sp now pulling back to at least 20p if not further and then mid teens once the 2nd round of funding lands from RF. it’s painful as a lth to see the company lurch from one missed opportunity to another but that’s down to the CEO who is not up to the job of overseeing successful commercialisation of GDR’s products. I would suggest they appoint someone specifically for that task but that wd increase the monthly spend even more and currently GDR are generating less than £50k in sales every six months. Budd might end up asking RF for even more money if there’s still no serious reaction with sales in 6 months time.

DEVOTE Grant: possible but unlikely imo
FDA news: think we’d have heard by now if it’s the quicker cheaper route. FDA have history in not doing GdR any favours. Think this is a year away for AIHl and will be costly.

Fret not Starres - Riverfort will be benefitting from the decline one way or another. They went into this with their eyes open and knowing GDR was in a weak position. Who knows when the work will turn....

Garonne - sorry but I simply don't believe any CEO would come on here and post a message referring to some of the share holders in GDR as 'nutters'. Some will say he was verified but i just don't/can't believe that.

And it was relentless. That's why I suggested simply binning those posters if that's what you think is going on.

This stock doesn't need deramping. Budd manages to corrode confidence perfectly well all by his lonesome.

It will come good eventually and these posters know that. Wouldn't surprise me if they are the same person and that it's Riverfort shorting the stock for all their worth before going long. bwtfdik Given up trying to understand this stock on AIM.

We're in Budd's hands as to when he deigns to drop some further news but knowing how useless he was at doing a PR job on the covid PoC kit I'm not now holding my breath. Went in deep here expecting much more than 40p on the NICE news but just ended up being shafted again. Painful hold but it will do well...one day. I just hope by then Budd is out of a job as he does not deserve the credit for these GDR products making on to the shelves across the globe. Useless CEO who has no understanding of commercialising products of any kind.

It's till far too risky a play for most. the Chairman said our new CFO will 'drive our financial discipline'. Yeh, no sh.t! Such a banal statement that could mean just about anything. People have absolutely no clue as to where Argo is heading or what the plan is short term, medium or even long term. We have 'an exciting future' apparently but I've no idea what that statement is based on.

This is just pie in the sky until the Chairman and current BoDs pull their fingers out and actually do something to clarify and confirm a strategy. Any strategy. Just get on with it ffs or the next big bull run on btc will be of no use to ARB share holders.

How far does it drop this time I wonder? My guess is we’re definitely going to need that second tranche of funds from Riverfort but if we’ve still got no significant traction with sales in 6 months then really not sure what is in store for GDR.

Budd back to hanging head fully immersed in the sand. When is the ostrich due to lay next? Usually 3 to 6 months to wait. By August we’ll hear something hopefully.

But GDR May have other new tests they are developing that we aren’t yet aware of. Products won’t stop just at AIHL and the stroke marker test. Fingers crossed.

Even if GDR got half of the £80 that would be 30,000 x £40 = £1.2m a year. Not bad for starters. Just need news of more hospitals signing up to it very soon and a couple of contracts abroad. Then Riverfort deal can hopefully be jettisoned at the earliest possible opportunity and not draw down the second tranche of £3m. Suspect Budd will want to guarantee his monthly £25k salary first and foremost though.

MIK get your facts right. Each test is about £80. Where on Earth did you get £1.10 from?
