MyIPA - thing is we have no idea what GDR have in the pipeline so it’s easily possible as the ONLY genomics R and D company in Manchester that they will cover all of these areas. Don’t forget Innovation Health were the organisation who awarded GDR funding for AIHL several years ago so there is a strong link between them already. I’m betting heavily on GDR being awarded some of this as they are the only Genomics company in the area so where else cd this funding go other than Man Uni? They have no competitors there as far as I’m aware…

Sorry, here’s what I found…

The following projects will be funded as part of the GM health accelerator programme:

1. Liver disease – Building on the existing ID LIVER research project to find and treat liver disease in patients much earlier.

2. Heart failure – Developing a new approach for finding more people at risk of heart failure, focusing on communities most in need.

3. Lung cancer screening – Building on the well-established Lung Health Checks programme to develop digital approaches for more targeted screening and community outreach.

4. Chest pain – Working with the North West Ambulance Service to develop diagnostic tools to be used by paramedics before patients reach hospital.

5. Community diagnostics – Deploying proven point of care tests and diagnostic tools to improve the identification of people at risk of lung disease, heart disease, and other cardiometabolic conditions, focused on underserved communities.

Here’s what I find but I stress we have no idea if GDR have any assays in early development stage that might fit this list.

We already know this funding will not be applicable for tests eg AIHL and stroke marker tests that have already been produced.

Thanks MyIPA. Do you mean the company CAN'T draw down under the sp of 16p even if it's been voted in favour of them taking the second tranche of RF funding? Sorry if I'm being dim but after reflecting on what I've read it looks more like RF will withhold the £300k from being drawn down should the sp, daily liquidity or VWAP fall below certain levels. Is that actually RF protecting themselves from lending money to GDR if investors are clearly pulling away?

In some ways that makes me feel slightly better about this deal. However, I could just simply have misunderstood it all.

DEVOTE funding is the next thing to help give our sp a kick up the proverbial and, assuming it lands, we really, really need Budd to have something else positive to say shortly afterwards in order to help maintain the sp or it will once again just slowly drop.

Lloyd - you know enough shut this share to know that if any family requested this test the hospital would have to look into it or risk being on the end of a lawsuit further down the line. I think I read in the NiCE report that Neonatal units should inform parents of neonates about the possibility of having this test..? Or did I imagine that?

Where are you seeing those? If they’re on L2 then I’m missing something. Perhaps they’re not buys but a big sell being worked. That’s the way things look like they’re going at the moment.

So much selling! Sp is in serious trouble yet again. Budd meanwhile does nothing. Oh apart from collect his monthly £25k. I wonder if he’ll try again to establish a bonus payment scheme for himself for underachieving for another year. You bet he will.

I think they’re scrambling to put something in place that will stop the sp being trashed once it becomes course MFC drilling was a waste of time and money.

I’m starting to think that PJ’s over the top messaging has something to do with his removal . There may well be personal reasons for him doing so but the comms are now very different and there is no overly positive or tempting messaging going on. Was PJ actually warned he was close to breaking rules in trying to lure new investors with too much talk of ‘transformational’ talk? We’ll never know.

I cringe when I think back to his video in which he told us his son had asked him ‘ are we rich daddy?’.

Long road ahead here but I do feel the new mangt have more idea of how to take things forward from this point on.

Let’s hope that before that GM there is some good news that gives share holders confidence to vote against the option. It will only allow David Budd to continue drawing down his monthly salary for ongoing failure. Unless Budd shows something positive I will not support that particular motion.

Budd feeds share holders to the RF wolves whilst backing a cosy £25k every month for NOT commercialising a single GDR product.

Come on Mr Chairman, show some balls and replace this inept CEO. The employee reports published on Linkedin three years ago proved that he’s out of his depth and that staff knew it back then. His incompetence puts their jobs at risk. If you need to commercialise product then get someone who has a proven track record in this area. Do it now!
