This will be great in time but unfortunately it’s going to take far longer than any of us lths would have wished for.

A big step forwards would be one of the central London hospitals adopting one of GDR’s tests. None have to date and clearly this was cause for frustration for James Cheek so my gut feeling is they’ve been approached and know about the tests but have said no or not yet… hopefully CYP2C19 once approved for use for cardiac arrest patients will have to be adopted a little quicker than I’d just being used as a back up for lab testing for stroke victims.

Nothing anyone can do but be patient. I am hoping GDR can at least garner enough support to avoid being taken private.

I disagree about the US clinical testing partner not being the same as the partner for distribution with whom GDR were supposedly dotting the i’s and crossing t’s back in December 2023. Either they are one and the same or that particular agreement has gone pear shaped because it doesn’t take 8 months to announce an agreement that is in the final stages of being signed and sealed. I am more than half expecting this same partner to be the one that buys GDR out and that it is indeed Beckman Coulter. Gino will be kept on as the CEo of that division and be allowed to focus on the science whilst the new owner hangs over all the commercial aspects to their vastly experienced, globally established and highly successful sales department.

Just need time and enough support until the offer lands.

His responsibilities now are not focused on the science but providing value to the mcap and share holders. He should learn from Budd and Cheek’s mistakes in staying silent for ages and dribbling sales info on to the market. He should be doing interviews to fully the market of every conversation he is hearing and emphasise the near term and long term potential. AIM is based on sentiment and GDR has very little atm so silence will only see the mcap drop further. We need a PR story and lots of visibility an comms imo to get everyone talking about which sales deals might land next….

Test is £80. 2000 patients are Year. £160k but more like £100k clear profit. One can assume an assessment will be made after 6 months but if that number of £91m saving per year is banded about then there will be more sales before long.

You know perfectly well the NICE recommendation was Conditional and that the MT RNR1 test is up for full commission either towards the end of this year or early next so there will be no full roll out until then. You know this of course.

Stocksaint - November? Really? If there are no sales and no RNSs until Nov then I’d expect the sp to be right back to the placing price. Personally don’t see that as I’m hopeful they will get some sales in the ME under way before then. Also hoping they can persuade at least one more NHS Trusts to adopt the MT RNR1 kits. Matters regarding sales are clearly much tougher than anyone expected and going to take longer than we’d hoped for but in time they’ll sell something surely?! My hopes for anything above 5p are blown to bits for the time being. But by Nov I really hope they’ve made some significant progress.

Completely wrong! Neither product has yet been ‘fully validated’ for sale in the US. One test is about 7 or 8 months off and the CYp2C19 one is possibly years off.

Sensible post eureka. From £3 to 1.5p. People must be aware this is high risk and that even armed with approvals there is absolutely no guarantee they will sell in decent bulk. If they don’t GDr will be bought for a song. If they start selling then I expect a buyout offer will land once sales are under way.

According to NICE the test is about £100 excl VAT so I’m just about right. As for the actual machines I’m not entirely sure but agree that the best way to get these tests rolling is to hand out free machines to the biggest hospitals in London. Get the biggies using the tests asap.

If they wait until each stroke unit comes to them asking to buy it they’re going to take a century to even get the ball rolling for income from the tests. It’s a farce and I think Cheeky boy has been found out. At least we have 80% dilution thank him for for his time at Genedrive. Gilham totally asleep at the wheel.
