Vodafone is at a years high and so is BT the question is can it keep climbing the ladder or is it about to drop down that nasty snake ?

Aangus1, with my core holdings that i intend to hold long term and lgen is one of them i keep reinvesting dividends regardless, but only add new money if the share price is below my average, but everyone should do what they feel is right for their own circumstances

Aangus1, there are no charges for auto reinvestment with Hargreaves Lansdown which normally takes place around the 11th of the month, so yes i usually do, but if I'm adding new money i wait for the share price to drop around the low 2.20s

As this is my largest share holding, will look forward to payment day then reinvest as usual, should it drop back to 2.20 sometime this year will add some more

Hello Soton, my lost top up when I doubled on my number of shares I paid 86p, if it gets to that I will be very tempted to sell off that batch, as for my first purchase I paid a lot more, so maybe worth holding until after the buybacks have completed and see where we are then, but as you know anything can happen here maybe even an increase in dividend

My best performer has been Aviva it just gets better and better, let's hope Vodafone can do the same

Bloo, to be fair I'm sure Dan realises that, but we do need it to result in a higher sp eventually for us to get some benefit from it, personally I just want to see a higher sp as soon as possible to reduce my losses here and maybe sell up, others may be looking to hold long time, it all depends on what your own personal strategy is

Good afternoon Dan, I think you and most others here realise that my traitor comment to LTI was meant as a joke, i couldn't care less if he doe's a bit of of trading with his shares or not, in fact i sometimes do a bit of trading myself with other shares if a good opportunity arises

the guy seems to think he's always right and knows more than anyone else, he is also most definitely lacking any sense of humour, rude/arrogant and condescending, just my personal opinion of course, i expect he has a very different opinion of himself ?

and if you have a grievance with MD please sort it out yourself, I have been invested here for several years and it's been a rewarding income share for myself
