Dc, even £3 would be a very good price for myself, remember the ftse is at an all time high at the moment, the good thing about this share is the high dividend yield, it brings in regardless of the share price, don't aim too high and you won't be dissapointed

jatw, that is the biggest concern with any dividend shares, if the dividend is cut for some reason then the share price can drop very quickly, i think that risk is a very small one with mng, and i see this as a pretty safe bet, but obviously future dividends are never guaranteed with any shares at anytime

Hello soton, no i have resisted selling Aviva so far, i may regret it as it's showing a really nice profit from my buy in the 3.80s but if i was to sell i don't think i would ever get a chance to rebuy anywhere near that price again, so right or wrong I'm holding onto most of my dividend shares and just adding to them when a good opportunity arises, I'm still waiting for Vodafone to make me a rich man, wish me luck with that one!

Garonne, my feeling is the Vodafone share price will stay suppressed or make little gains until after the buybacks are completed in about a years time

maybe I'm totally wrong about that though, what do you think LTI as you are an expert on that topic

and as roofer said the other day chat gpt rate this as a good future investment that's currently under valued, but it all depends on whether you feel it's worth holding onto or not, I'm going to sit it out and see what happens
