Sidi. i would be happy with 140 here, whenever i see the lgen rising to a new year high, i think of you with your finger hovering over the sell button lol, i will be curious to see when you press it, i know you won't be able to resist
best of luck mate
Gordon57, That sounds like a very serious question, and i'm not sure anyone here would want to answer it, but please be aware there are a few clowns on this board who are just wind up merchants, so please DYOR and be very careful
best of luck to you
This share is rising very nicely on approach to exdiv, let's hope any good news outdoes any bad news in the next few months, it's unlikely that i will sell any, but it's still good to see it hit the high figures again so everyone is back in profit

Dan, you do whatever you want mate, i'm just saying i would prefer people just said what they really think about this share, whether they think it's going to be a worthwhile investment in the near future or not
rather than just wasting their time on a few people who are obviously just trying to wind everyone up, surely nobody takes them serious anyway, it sure would be nice to see this moving up though, it just seems to be getting left behind now
Plenty of posts here saying this is going down, and others calling them idiots for saying it, but it's not very often you hear anyone saying how well they think this is going to do in the near future or what their expectations are from this share
Have you all given up?
Anon, that's a very nice return indeed, it's was a bit of a slow burner that one but it's certainly made up for it this year, well done
you may want to also take a look at this one 80% growth last 5 years
FIDELITY INDEX WORLD
funds are not for everyone, but all i can say is all of my funds are in profit and helping to grow my portfolio, and lgen is doing it's bit providing income
but each to his own, let's hope we can all have a more profitable year
Hi soton, yes there is definitely a mix of characters here, unfortunately there's one thing that all of us investors have in common here at the moment though, we are all ? well i will leave you to finish that sentence off lol
best of luck mate
roofer, ok then as long as we can get to 80p soon, enjoy your dividend payment ;-)
cheers
Not sure why any of you are getting angry about jax or gutter, unless you think they are responsible for the low share price or maybe you are taking it out on them because we are losing money here
If you believe in what your investing in here just laugh it off, it will all come out in the wash as they say
It would be nice to see this moving towards the 80s soon though, so fingers crossed for that
Sidi, if it's any help, last years results were on the 8th march, this reached it's peak on the 7th of march, then took a big drop on results day, then gradually started rising to ex div day but didn't get as high, but obviously no two years are the same, i use HL charts, best of luck mate what ever you choose to do
Good evening sidi, Hl charge 11.95 per trade, but you would have to pay that twice if you was selling and then buying back, one advantage with HL is they have a good selection of funds and there are no charges for buying or selling funds, I don't do a lot of trades like yourself so the 11.95 now and again is not too much of a problem, i will be watching to see how high this goes and make a decision then, btw if you check the charts for last year this reached it's peak in march and dropped down before x div
have a good weekend
MrMath, well done that's a very nice return, the first round is on you, and the second and the third lol, I hope Zac is not going to be a wet blanket and tell you how much you could have made if you invested in lgen global technology fund
only joking of course guys
Hello sidi, that's a big call with this share, It will depend on how high this can go before ex div
not only will it have to drop lower than the dividend amount, but you will also have to cover the buying and selling charges, which would be £24 for me with HL and also the tax charges, and it will need to drop even more than that to make it all worth while, another thing that's on my mind about this year, is if inflation and interest rates drop will that bump up the share prices
another option of course, is to take the dividend and if this should drop back very low again, buy more and lower your average
If only we had a crystal ball this would be much easier
what is everyone's thoughts on this for this year, will you be selling some or all or holding, £2.80 or more and i think it would be very tempting to take some profits
Stupmy, well i do hope you have called it wrong once again, a better finish than i expected today, let's hope this can keep pushing up towards the 80p next, then i will start taking a bit more interest in it
gla
Jatw, some very good points there, the problem is there seems to be more reasons for the share price to drop than rise lately, that could change if interest rates and inflation drops perhaps
its annoying though when your shares are in profit, then all of a sudden they have dropped back into loss
I was telling sidi the other day that i had broken even on my Lloyds shares at 47p, now they have dropped back into loss at 42p, he was wiser than myself and sold at the right time
it makes you think sometimes if holding is the right approach
