A 20% drop in a month <> "holding up well"

A scientific analysis would require some sort of multi-factor plot of results, buybacks, oil price and oil demand forecast.
No doubt the more sophisticated analysts are able/have the time to do that.
The drop from 450 to 370 in a month i.e. around 20% is quite dramatic and should show up on such a plot.
Otherwise it's really a matter of having a punt at the troughs and peaks.

On the face of it, S4's impressive client list would suggest this is massively undervalued. However, everything is about current earnings. So I hope it will rise over time. That rise needs to be 3x or 4x thoug.

Well JPM has a new 800p target. That's 100 above my buy price last year. On that basis it won't happen!
However, if the dividend is maintained I won't lose much each year against the backdrop of inflation.

The latest Berenberg target of 135p is surely the only realistic one in recent times.
I think that a few pence either way and a sustained dividend is the best we can hope for.
I can't see where any growth will come from. Thinks like 5G just cost a lot in infrastructure but customers aren't likely to want to pay more for it.

The movements are mostly just on the limit of a viable trading range for day traders. However, I if I tried to trade this up and down I know that it would wrong foot me every time - leading to a complete loss of my investment. Like trying to observe a quantum particle. I've never had any success doing that either.

Who don't I sell then? Well like most people it's a case of 'knowing' that it'll then go up. But then you can buy back in. Oh but then it'll drop again. And so on.

The answer to the question is of course 'yes'. SFOR (So Far Only Regret) is really being punished now.
Interesting to compare to NFC (No Frickin Chance) which is also being viciously eroded.

There appears to have been an £18M buy early afternoon. Who knows who this was.

At least it's trying to climb back up no doubt helped by the fact that it's a big dividend payer.
Compare that to Entain which isn't and whose sp is relentlessly down.

A disaster in the making with the sp like most of investments. I would hope that EZJ doesn't actually go out of business but difficult to see what will keep it aloft for much longer.

The market isn't forgiving over SFOR's shennanigins over the reporting, but it's the same story with almost everything other than energy - especially non-dividend payers.

We seem to be in a tight range centred around today's price.

Will the sp increase or top out at around 130 again?

Will this ever recover?

Despite my previous downer on VOD, it's notable how it's holding up in this sick market.
All down to the dividends and inflation eroding its debt.
Having said that - let's watch it drop!

Running through a number of ticks I hold it seems those with a high PE are getting clobbered the most.
