A lot of pessimism here. Just think - it could be worth as much as 71p by end Feb if the downtrend slows.

The conspirancy theorist in me says that the nakedtrader has sold and the brokers have dropped the price knowing that when his followers find out they'll want to sell too.

There we are - 91p.
No doubt more hopefuls will be lured in. The decline will then continue.

Just nudged over - but nope it won't stay there!

Well just 3p away now from my long-held fear of 91p. After tomorrow we'll be there or below. How this is still in the FTSE is beyond me.

They are - they're just trying to hold the faith/talk it up - like UFO watchers.

A 5 year downtrend can hardly be described as safe can it?

Will the market let it go above £6 ?!

Even if Reed was sacked it is difficult to see what could be done now to change the company into a growing profit making entity. It's like a sub-model of the UK economy with its £2+ trillion debt, increasing benefit support demands and already maxed-out scope for tax income. The market doesn't like either.

pboughton - like you I can't find anything compelling to buy at the moment either. I suspect the market will drop back soon anyway. We can't get away with a profit after all can we?!

This not a dip - it is a significant downgrade. I have long feared 91p and now it looks like it will come to pass i.e. go down past that!

It's like a monopoly player intent on buying the whole board with loans from the bank but insufficient income from the properties it owns. Amazing that the dividend has survived really. Clearly the bod doesn't care about the sp.

Yet more debt.

I feel this is a complete gamble since good updates result in a sp drop. Seems there's something the market doesn't like/trust.
The P/E I think is more like 20 than 56(?)
Wouldn't mind betting that the NT sells at £4.

I have joined you on the basis of a predominance in buying today. This was a good share to buy, at the right time, in the past.
