Don't you mean negative growth - at least in terms of the sp?

The word 'drop' seems to apply to everything I own!
Anyway, what to make of these little buys of 2 or 5 shares?

At a guess the buyers are all gung-ho day traders watching the L2 and trading in and out. The brokers are happy to let this happen.

But what about my specific question?

If they take the company private either temporarily or permanently could they not simply re-rate the shares say at 1p each?
That way they've kind of run off with everyones' stake.

I am a shareholder here but I feel that this is being overhyped by many pundits. Just like Vodaphone I'm now looking for a good exit point but dont expect there'll be one.

This is the most appropriate subject heading.
Morningstar shows all the funds and institutions selling in tranches. They must know the shares will otherwise become worthless. Another halving will probably occur tomorrow as more shares come onto the brokers books.

Well there's been a significant loss of shareholder value - in effect an 80%+ loss of any capital invested.

So effectively you HAVE transferred capital value to the company for the reason pumpky states.

Seems to me that only FTSE stalwarts are ever worth staking your life savings in. Except for VOD of course.

The div 20% is only meaningful for people who buy at this dented price. Then how will it get paid?

Today there are more buyers than sellers but the sp has gone down.

Looking at the stock exchange site there are often off book trades so I wonder if these are factored in?

I sold a week or two back. At the time I said it would then rise which it has. That was 100% certain. Of course if I get back in it will *$%^ it again.

355 is nonsense. Just look at the 10yr chart. We were above 250 9 years ago.
