I used cod's rather than sod's since it's cleaner and cod's eye comes to mind too.

Sig, I use charts to gauge trends and I look in particular to buys vs sells (assuming that the stats are at least crudely representative of what's going on). If TA charts represented real world things like CO2 emissions then plotting a trajectory would be more viable. Of course every time you think there is a trend one way or another world events wrong foot you - like they're waiting to do so!
Based on the chart like the one you presented I'd say we are in for £2 or less.
If I had more time I'd post something more garbled than what I've just wrote.

The figures to my very lay eye are just a tangle. PWC must have had a tough job trying to assess all this.

A lot of unsubstantiated and hopeful assertions there! None of us have looked at the books. One suspects the market must know something but just how and what I have no idea.

I had predicted a drop rather than rise and 250p bottom. Looking like that's optimistic.

It's indeed true that charges especially in HL are excessive.
I've made more in funds that individual stocks on which I am deeply in the red on every one except Shell.
However, what gets my goat with the funds is that the managers knew the market was massively overvalued but made no moves to cash in. So like most PIs they've sat and watched a 30-40% decline since last Sept. Likewise I knew I should have sold last autumn but didn't FFS.

Conpound I think what you say makes sense. For the hours one has to put into share research one might as well stack shelves. You can't lose on that.

I fear it has simply been overhyped creating a bubble last year.

GBG looks like a good business although it's undergone wild swings over time.
Directors have been buying at £6 or £7 over past months.
Good trading update but maybe the market doesn't like the debt at £100M+ and investors are now after dividends rather than hopes of growth.

Even at £3 the P/E is quite high at 24.5
The market is bound to want to see more profit especially given the current global outlook before allowing any re=rating upwards. Shame people were suckered in on the temporary rise. It was bound to be false dawn.

Keeping things in in the overall global context, VOD has 'survived' quite well probably as a consequence of the dividend.
Problem is at the moment, whatever dip you buy it's likely to suffer a lower one.
Over the long term of course a few pence here and there it doesn't make much difference.
