I think the Oza family (I think it was his parents) invested over £1mm at some point, but remained and remain (possibly) under the 3% disclosure threshold. I think it all came to light on the offer for Deltic when shareholders >1% needed to disclose.
Share ownership by parents are not normally discloseable as they are regarded as not under the influence or control of their son/daughter. Holdings of Brothers/Sisters and offspring must be disclosed...as far as I can recall.

When you said "near a million a month in income" you actually meant near a million DOLLARS a month, assuming it flows at 1200 bbls/day with no decline (which means, in theory at least, all the P50 Ashover reserves from the current CPR would have been produced, which is of course technically impossible?)

what you mean is that this will be the case if we ignore the £2mm Calmar Payment and the £1.6mm in overhead, and we don't spend anything at WN or Biscathorpe, and we don't pay 40% tax due on any revenue that is above the companies current tax shelter of £8mm. Which at £1mm, or even $1mm per month would be the case...

How do you calculate £1mm a month in income from Wressle?
There is no debt as such, but they do have to pay Calmar £2.08mm this year.
The overhead cash burn is £1.6mm per year or thereabouts.
Still can't do your simple maths to arrive at these numbers, perhaps you can show us all your calculation?

Just to help, that's $21mm of revenue after opex costs, overhead, contingent payments and taxes... do you know something the rest of us don't?

The chance of producing is related to the fact that the oil wont actually flow. The planning issue is just a virtue signalling sideshow.

An Oil platform, is for offshore production, so do you mean when the first commercial oil comes through?
Or do you mean when the well is first flow tested on a rig?
And when you say and how fast, do you mean its flow speed metres/second or its daily volume ?

That’s over 15 years ago, It produced a few bbls/day but eventually they gave up, distracted by Gas Storage (failed) and then Tight Gas (failed), so it’s time to get stuff out from the back of the cupboard and dust it off, most shareholders will have forgotten…

Is it a sparkling reputation for delivering shareholder value in the past- mmm?, probably not.
Perhaps they’ve just run out of mug punters looking for the latest transformational event.
