Obviously I wish you well. If your predictions come true then we will all benefit. - My only caveat being that using logic as a criteria for prediction, usually proves futile when it comes to Centamin. - However, let's hope you're right.

Given past experience, is anyone truly confident that Centamin will do their best for shareholders. - It's been a complex chess-game for quite some time now with rarely a winning move in shareholders favour.- I suspect this trend will continue resulting in the legalised theft of their holdings. - It was never about shareholders. It's always been about the directors and their largesse and what is best for them. - It wouldn't surprise me if there has been collusion and the crocodile-tears on display by 'The board'are all part of the chess-move strategy. IMO

If I've understood correctly, Youseff El-Raghy's statement of 8th Dec. proclaiming that Centamin are on target to achieve lower-end of forecast (490k oz) is about as close as you can get to a guarantee that we are going to make it. - If true, and I emphasise 'If true', then of itself it should provide a significant boost to the SP. - Siko posted the statement and the date and I think everyone would agree that he is as reliable a messenger as you can get. - In making your decision, it's worth taking this fact into account I feel.

Indeed Sotolo- Tears are an age thing aren't they. - They come far too easily and far too often these days.

If we can hit lower-end of forecast, a task I thoght was impossible after Q3 debacle, I know you were still optimistic based upon 2018 Q4, but if we can, we'll be firing on best coal as the saying goes, a significant boost should follow. - Moreover, if momentum can be carried over into the new trading-year, I can see £2.00 as a result. - As for take-overs after that, bring it on.

Fair comment Dasut. - Indeed, recent comments can be construed in the manner you suggest. - It won't be long before we know. - In the light of what's happening, you would think that senior officials of the company wouldn't dare deliberately mislead. But as far as Centamin is concerned, I make that comment with reservations. - We'll see.

I'm touched actually by the support you have all given me. - It's starting to bring tears to an old-guys eyes. - As you know, playing 'Devils advocat' is very much behind my style of posting. A style I like to feel brings with it a certain entertainment value, adding to the overall contribution of all of the other different styles, if that makes sense. Unfortunately, some of the prophecies behind my advocaacy have been a bit too near the mark. - I'm hoping and praying that on this occasion, when everyones spirits have been uplifted by the recent events, that my prophecies, cynicisms some might say, fall well short of the mark.

Hierarch. - The 1.5bn company that you refer to; I remember when it was a 2.5bn, company (or thereabouts) and gold was lower in price than it is today. Btw. - I'd love you to be right and me to be so wide of the mark that I would need to apologise. - Good luck.

My experience with Centamin over the years has taught me one thing. - Don't build your hopes up and don't use logic in your calculations. Expect the worse rather than the best.

If Youseff El-Raghy's statement is accurate and we truly are on course to meet forecast, all be it lower end, then the SP will not require strenghtening via a take-over boost. Meeting forecast will generate it's own rocket-fuel without any help. - Anything that comes later will be a bonus. - The big question is: - Is El-Raghy being truthful or just spoofing as is their wont. - I guess we'll soon know. - My money's on spoofing. - Why now change the habit of a lifetime. - IMO

Well Both Pardey and Seb. de Montessus were there at the same time. - Pardey stood on the Denver rostrum and proclaimed that Centamin was on target. - A few weeks later he dropped the 'Hint' that they weren't. - The SP fell as a result. - How convenient for Endeavour and S de M.

Guess who else was at Denver proclaiming that everything was going to plan? - And what a coincidence that shortly afterwards, the hint was dropped about Q3 production set-backs resulting in a precipitous fall in the SP.

Thanks Siko - A timely message I feel. - With only 3 weeks of the year left to go, the statement by Mr Youseff El-Raghy that we are on plan to meet forecast gives a massive boost to confidence . In addition ,the plans for expansion in Egypt are also very encouraging and uplifting.

Hi Cowichan - I've even had the thought that 2019 has been sabotaged in order to trash the SP to accomodate what is now taking place. - It's been a strange year, much of which has been unexplainable and questioned by many on here. Even those amongst us who don't usually give vent to their feelings. - I honestly believe there's some treachery afoot.

If they play fair with existing shareholders they'll get Centamin. - And who knows, given the intrigue/mystery/enigma that has always surrounded Centamin, they may still be able to steal it. - Eg. - What if suddenly the court case comes to life and there is a ruling and Centamin lose. - Don't be surprised. - This chess-game has been in progress for a long time now, are we beginning to see the final moves, the end-game. - Fanciful maybe, but not beyond the realms of possibilty. Has Sawiri the influence within Egyptian inner-circles to be able to control such moves? - I'll leave that to you as individuals to answer that question. - A few years ago now, if my memory serves, I described Centamin as a 'Golden tree with low-hanging fruits surrounded by serpents'. - Nothing has changed.

Question: - Does the 'Fifth column' insider influence have any say in this response? -

Many of the shenanigans that have taken place over the last year or so are now coming into clear focus IMO. - So much that was unexplainable, so much that appeared to be a mystery, where we can now begin to join some dots up. - It's makes you wonder where Centamin should have been, could have been without such intrigue. - And yet, a man that has been at the centre of it all, who is being replaced, is still being allowed to control events. - This is an even bigger mystery. - Very, very, very suspicious. - Surely what is now happening is beyond legal. - Where's the regulator when you need him/her.
