I would think that Scancell will already have data for all of those first 16 patients for SCOV1 and the data for SCOV2 for the 16 patients will also be emerging.
Presumably, once Scancell and the trial clinicians are happy with the safety of SCOV2, then the UK arm of the trial could be started. Always subject to the UK regulators giving the green light of course

There does seem to be so much evidence now that:

1) T Cells are essential for a long lasting immunity
2) Targeting the N protein is a clever way to possibly make sure that no variants can escape a vaccine that does this

Remember, Scancell have encouraging initial data that proves the immunogenicity induced by Covidity.

Here's a novel thought and maybe wishful thinking.

Lindy hinted that after Covidity data is published, that a possible deal would be on Immunobody rather than just Covidity.
CEPI has already indicated that they are interested in platforms to help combat a range of viruses, not just Covid19.
Indeed, Sarah Gilbert stressed that the Oxford vaccine development was greatly speeded up by using an existing platform.

So it may be that Lindy is loath to offer Immunbody to anyone at this stage, even her colleagues at UON. Of course, this may just apply to infectious diseases and not cancer.

Certainly, a deal for Immunobody in the area of infectious diseases would be a total bonus for Scancell. Such a deal would have been a distant possibility and probably impossible before Covid19 appeared.

One possible reason might be that, for whatever reason, it is difficult to use Prof Dixon's peptide delivery method for an Immunobody vaccine. So perhaps a DNA vaccine needs to have a different structure to produce good delivery results.

Why develop another DNA vaccine platform when Immunobody is likely to fit the bill.
It doesn't make sense to me.

So I would say that this looks almost certainly to be Immunobody.

Understood Burble, but it may just become the playground of big pharma, with small British companies like Scancell still at the bottom of the pile as far as clinical trials are concerned.

That's simply not like Lindy to comment on data before it is published. She normally errs on the cautious side.

On the subject of the UK trial commencing, it looks like two conditions need to be satisfied
a) SCOV2 is deemed to be safe
b) either ID or IM is clearly shown to be the better option

Who knows, we may not be too far away from having those answers
