I don't think Scancell will consider selling Immunobody at this stage since there is still unfinished business on SCIB1, SCIB2 and any other SCIBs that Lindy has plans for.
However, I do think that, if the Covidity data is good, then Lindy would consider an Immunobody deal for infectious diseases only. It is possibly what she was alluding to in the last AGM.

But they have already made the mistake of incorrectly stating the future course of the company during the SCIB1 trial. They are hardly going to repeat the same mistake.

She did hint that a deal would involve immunobody rather than just Covidity. This gets me thinking in terms of Covidity possibly being effective against all Coronaviruses and perhaps a big future for immunobody against other infections. This fits in well with CEPI stating that they are interested in vaccine platforms. It also fits with the peer review of the SCIB1 trial that mentioned that immunobody could be effective against infectious diseases. It all depends on the quality of the data of course. All IMHO

Lindy did say for the Covidity trial that, once the trial is finished, they would publish the results (from memory I think she said 6 weeks after trial termination) and only then would they consider deals.
It seemed a quite definite timescale to me.
I expect the other trials will follow a similar pattern, although Moditope may be different if it acts as quickly as it did with mice. The tumours have disappeared so we are not waiting for any extra data :-)

I don't think it is a change of strategy, more a clarification of strategy.
I'm pretty sure Lindy has said in the past that GlyMabs would be be progressed to the clinic either by partnership or by Scancell alone.
But I agree that another interview would have been helpful to fill in some of the details.

In fact, if you make yet another advance in the science, why not make the decision to move it towards the clinic. This is on the proviso that Scancell have the expertise to take it into to the clinic. This, together with help from their partner, is clearly the case with this latest development.

The CAR-T and ADC avenues are not obviously within Scancell's area of expertise and so they are actively seeking partnerships for these areas. But partnerships will come only when Lindy has demonstrated, to her satisfaction, that Scancell have done the groundwork to prove the potential in these areas.
Exactly when the time to deal arrives, I reckon we can trust Lindy to decide on that. She certainly isn't going to take low offers. Perhaps she wants the Avidimab evidence of Covidity to arrive first.

All in all, what a great situation Scancell now find themselves in.

I seem to remember that Bermuda covered the involvement of Redmile in the REDX takeover in some detail.
Far from being the villain, Redmile appeared to be REDX's saviour if I remember correctly.

There may also be the reluctance of Lindy to commit Scancell to detailed work on ADCs and CAR-T technology. Leave that to the experts.
Whereas anything that involves TCells is right up Lindy's street, so she may feel that she has the best chance to get it right.

I just think back to the low key announcement some years ago about acquiring these mAbs from Nottingham Uni. This was just after a placing, if my memory serves me correctly.

Then we had the announcement some time later that the humanised version of the mAbs won't work, but not to be deterred Lindy and here team found the exact reason why they didn't work and Avidimab was born.

Then we had the announcements about collaborations of which there are now 4.

The Lindy, in almost a throwaway remark states that Scancell have turned down 2 deals on the glymab platform.

Now we have this latest news about an approach that Scancell tell us is at a pre-clinical stage and Scancell intend to move it into the clinic
"This is a promising new therapeutic approach to treat cancer. TCB antibodies have dual-binding specificity which crosslinks tumour cells via their glycans with an activating receptor CD3 on T cells. This results in activation of killer T cells and tumour cell death. "

But they are also telling us that they still intend to progress the ADC and CAR-T aspects of GlyMab platform.

"In parallel, the Company will utilise the GlyMab® platform to deliver cytotoxic drugs (ADC) or cell therapies (CAR). The Board of Scancell intends to realise the potential of these approaches for the GlyMab® antibodies through strategic partnerships with third parties."

So, in summary, we now have 3 trials on progress and the prospect of 2 more (Glymab and Modi2).
It's not difficult to see why Lindy was so keen on the Redmile cash

Exactly and it now looks like the original trial and the booster trial have been combined into 1 trail.

Yes, that end date of Dec 2022 does not exclude an RNS from Scancell for a trial update.
One was promised around end of Feb, but we know that the subsequent lack of recruitment due to the Omicron wave scuppered that.
So I wonder, with the relaxed entry criteria, when we can expect the next update.
It's certainly good having 3 trials going as each one of them could provide a much awaited inflection point. Tick Tock x 3 but will they chime and when will they chime?

Maybe the SP will reach the price for Cod and Chips
