Did I detect that Lindy paused a couple of times expecting the interviewer to ask the next question. No question came in so Lindy just carried on expanding on her answer with a smile on her face.

The general impression is that they are trying to cover all bases on the Modi1 trial.
I think Lindy previously called this "finding the sweet spot"

The general view seems to be that Scancell is just edging its way ever closer towards answering the questions we have been debating over the last 10 years.

Will SCIB1 in combination with Keytruda prove to be a great breakthrough increasing the survival of patients without adding to the side effects that Keytruda exhibits?

Will Covidity prove to be an improvement on current vaccines by providing long lasting robust immunity?

Will Moditope produce for humans anywhere near the same results that it produced for mice?

Will the extra work on the Glymab platform lead to substantially better deals?

We are edging closer to answers to the above. If the answers prove to be good then we will get those much awaited inflection points. No inflection points for ages and then several come along in quick succession we hope :-)

Meanwhile Lindy and her team are busy doing more research that will lead to more products in trial and more questions to answer. This time next year we may be talking bout Modi2 and SCIB2 going into trial.

Potting shed or plotting shed?

I'm not sure about this, we perhaps need an expert opinion from Burble.
For individual cancer cells the are zapped, the immune system will clear up the debris.
But for whole tumours that are removed quickly in the way Moditope has the potential to do, can this cause problems?
Perhaps Lindy's mice should be posting on here :-)

Didn't Lindy recently publish a paper highlighting that increasing the number of targets in vaccine can have an adverse effect?
Having said that, Lindy has said in the past that, if I remember correctly, 30 Modi1 targets have been found and the first seven tested were found to be immunogenic. So that may point to different moditope vaccines in the future.
She has also expressed excitement about the prospect of combining modi1 with modi2. Presumably some cancers exhibit citrullination and also homocitrullination.

C7, If moditope works as well on people as it does on mice, then we will all be minted.

Yes Johnny, the Covidity trial seems to be progressing nicely. Just like the SCIB1 trial, the maximum dose has been increased, and they are obviously trying to cover all bases with the inclusion of vaccinated and previously infected candidates. It looks like SCOV2 is likely to be the chosen vaccine but they are still undecided on the better of the 2 Pharmajet devices.
I wonder if Lindy will still publish results after the originally planned 40 patients have all completed their planned doses.
Alternatively, it may be problematical to actually find the remaining candidates who have neither been vaccinated nor infected by Covid19. So this means that we may have to wait a little longer until Lindy is happy she has the required data.
But like England test match wins, it is worth the wait.

No chance IMO. Covidity needs a successful phase 3 trial before approval.
Remember that Lindy's aim is to publish the SA trial results before looking for a deal.
So a deal may be on the cards this Autumn but not a successful phase 3 trial.

I would like to hear what Burble says.
However, it looks to me that, by adding previously infected and previously vaccinated to the trial, there is little sense in having a separate UK trial.
Plus, as Chester points out, the aim is for 80 to be included in the trial.

We are just going through a quiet period in the game. Lindy is blocking any low ball deals but hitting the occasional boundary to the left side. The total is impressive but little sign of a declaration. I have heard the Lindy has set herself a total of 800.

Since when did Scancell have a PR strategy?
We have always been told that it's all about the great science leading to great data leading to great deals.
Don't expect a ball to ball commentary. However you might get a report at the end of each innings.

I think what is more important is all the communication Lindy and Richard are having with collaborators.

They are a few checkpoint inhibitors on that list from Marcus.
Now that would be really something if avidimab were to increase the affinity of these CIs and extend their patent lives.
Also remember that avidimab can have ADCs attached to facilitate cell killing. Then if that is not enough it can also mediate a Tcell attack including Car-T Tcells.
It's to be hoped, once the Covidity results are published, and these are good, that Lindy can measure the contribution that avidimab brings to the party.

Well they do claim that avidimab will extend the Scib1 patent life, so maybe it is a valid claim.
