As far as I know, the trial of SCIB1 with Keytruda does not use an adjuvant.

I would say the point is the extent to which the Modi1 trial is attracting interest within top clinicians in the UK.

I agree Burble. I expect the search continues for more glycans mAbs. If I remember correctly, Scancell are sponsoring work at institutions in Barcelona and Melbourne.

Actually Burble, Lindy has stated that each mAb is in fact a platform. I assume by this she means that each one can attack its target cells in different ways

The potential is quite mind boggling but, of course, it is not yet proven in the clinic. However, the potential was enough to attract two deals that Lindy turned down.

It's easy to think that the program had something to do with Scancell.
Professor Christian Ottensmeier has long had a relationship with Scancell.
The latest aspect of this is that he is the Principal Investigator in the upcoming Modi1 Trail.

Lindy's team did harvest the appropriate T Cells and are were able to activate them.
But without the extra boost that Modi1 is expected to give to T Cell avidity the results were disappointing.
So the plan now is to use Modi1 activated T Cells (presumably from Modi1 trial patients) and give it another go.
But if the Modi1 trial gives outstanding results, Lindy joked that Biontech would not be able to afford to do a Moditope deal.

Lindy did say that they would only look to deal on Covidity after the trial has finished and the results are published approximately 6 weeks after this.

There's got to be strong reasons for doing it this way.
I'm wondering if scov1 an 2 are designed in such a way that administering 1 after the other is meant to show how easily an Immunobody vaccine can be adapted whenever a new variant of concern is encountered.
At the same time, because N protein targets are included in both vaccines (and presumably the same targets in both) then adding new S protein epitopes to scov2 may just be the icing on the cake and prove to be non essential. The trial may show that the original vaccine (scov1) would still be good enough to deal with new VOCs far better than currently approved vaccines.
The phase 1 trial data would presumably also give valuable input into phase2/3 design if we get that far.

It's definitely 2 doses of scov1 followed by 2 doses of scov2 in that order for all 40 patients.
