Not a boring post at all Bermuda, except perhaps to Hasibo :-)
'One peptide, conserved between SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2 [35], stimulated a response in cells from immunised HLA-A2 transgenic mice (N 138–146), thereby highlighting the potential of these T cells to recognise other coronaviruses.'
I think this is quite likely to be the peptide that Lindy mentioned in one of her recent presentations as being able to work against the Omicron variant.
With the Immunobody generated T Cells being such high avidity, this one peptide alone may be enough to have a big effect on any variant of Covid19.
If this peptide is indeed conserved for all coronaviruses, then there is no telling how useful a vaccine Covidity will be against the next Coronavirus that we are told is bound to appear at some point.
It's so smart of Lindy to work all this out without the benefit of hindsight and also the many recent articles about the importance of T Cells and also the targeting of the N protein.
Of course, we still await the preliminary data to give us some early indications of the potential of Covidity.
