I see that as a very sensible and worthwhile line of thought in that it would be possible to gauge the level of buyer interest by the volume and frequency of deals.
I think you ask a very good question in that the supply side of the recent trades will keep an orderly market when even recent indicators have shown only small liquidity in Scancell shares.
Someone asked last week how only a small sale of shares left the market disproportionately lower,
We're now seeing some large buys being comfortably supplied.
So believe Violindog, that you're asking the right question.

It's not a daft question WTP. All we know is that when Lindy was quizzed about a Covidity deal she did mention the possibility for an Immunobody deal. You could take that to mean an Immunobody deal for infectious diseases. This would leave Scancell to accumulate more Immunobody evidence for cancer before considering deals in that area.

Johnny, as I remember it, part of the grant went to Notttingham Univ and part to Nottingham Trent Uni but the lion's share went to Scancell.

Lindy wasn't keen on a Covid19 project as I remember it. Her colleagues at Nottingham Uni persuaded her otherwise.

We know that Lindy used a number of different adjuvants with Moditope before deciding on Amplivant.
I'm hoping that this podcast will give us more idea why she made this choice.

I certainly didn't see anything non factual in the page.

Seriously, though, looking at Scancell's website home page, I see 3 of the GlymAbs are now pre-clinical. Those must must getting closer to the point of doing deals. So, I'm going for that option :-)

It is worth adding to Marcus' s post that Biontech have a collaboration with Scancell for using Moditope generated TCells for cancer T Cell therapy.
Ugur Sahin himself was also on Lindy's grand challenge team for Modi3. So, we have two reasons why Biontech are keeping more than an eye on the Modi1 trial.

Strange that a scientist, who is so convinced that mNRA vaccines are the answer to curing cancer, is also interested in Moditope.

Could it be that the ubiquitous nature of the citrullinated epitopes in many cancers gives better targets than any personalised epitopes identified. The irony of this is that, if Lindy has found the best class of targets, then these are excluded from use in any personalised vaccines. This is due to one of Lindy's land grabs.

That sounds that they in the early stage of research. Contrast that to Scancell who already have a vaccine in the clinic that is hoped to be effective across all coronaviruses. An example of having a powerful platform that has already shown great results against Melanoma cancer.

However, Covidity may turn out to be a ping pong ball with cracks in it :-)

I didn't mention whether Scancell are already in talks with potential partners for Covidity.
Of course, talks are likely to be taking place, possibly with more than 1 potential partner.

What I was emphasising was when a deal is likely to happen. Lindy did say it would be after publishing the results of the trial.
So, exactly what in my post is completely wrong?

Yes ,and we just have to wait for the trial to finish and then the publishing of results. Lindy has clearly stated that.
It all fits with the strategy of great data then great deals.
Of course, that does not exclude an update on the trial in the meantime.
