To be honest the 'going private' line is a relatively new one which some of the stalwart doomies probably wish they'd thought of years ago.

Relax, do your own research, buy sell or hold on what you feel is best, and preferably have a diversified portfolio so you can enjoy it if it flies and not be reaching for the paracetamol if it goes belly up. As Frankie said, relax.

Hmm, somehow I don't recognise your writing style as being that of my stockbroker. And your investment advice is even less like his (thank goodness!!) so unless you have personal knowledge of the breadth and depth of my portfolio I suggest you 'butt out', as they say.

Just a quick follow-up from last night, I had a message from C7 this morning saying he's seen the posts re his health but isn't up to responding just now. He is currently in a hospice, his cancer having returned after 13 years and is back in his lungs with metastasis in his stomach and abdomen.

No expectation of imminent news and low volumes traded almost inevitably leads to a gentle slide in the sp. Balance the lack of announcements against the real life scientific developments and see how that feels to you as an investor or potential investor. Each to their own, and go from there. But I'm not expecting anything transformational in the very short term so a slow boredom-induced decline doesn't make me panic. Having said that I'm fortunate enough that if the whole Scancell progress went belly up it wouldn't be a major hiccough, but if it went the way I'd like it to it would make me substantially wealthier. Obviously I'd like it to carry on along the path it looks to be travelling at the moment and I don't want miniscule pumps from the bod as others do, I'll leave them to get on with the business and see the results as and when they arrive. I hope you're all in as relaxed a position as me and can wait and see what develops.

Two 'worst case', 3 'ifs' and a 'might', revolving around a completely hypothetical post, capped by the fact the CEO has bought which means definitely not a closed period. Like all my research over the past few years, there's nothing to give even a remote flicker of confidence to invest. And if the best the ramper-in-chief can say is he doesn't think another 50 percent discount placing is too likely, what do the realists see in the short to medium term....?

'you just want him to sell so that your client can buy in on the drop' - Look at the past performance ffs - "the drop"?!! The whole share price has been one continuous drop for years and years. I don't think anyone has ever had any need to put any effort into making this fall, it does it extremely well of its own accord. The only thing that seems to need effort is raising funds or consolidating. Maybe there's another one looming in the wings....
