Paternost - you can understand my reluctance to put money in here when the best investment argument you and your team can come up with is some phenomenal predictions prefaced with 'if' 'could' and 'might', then followed by some alleged knowledge of a poster's wealth, then finished off with several allegations of mental illness and need for psychiatric help. Not the most compelling argument. I have regularly asked if anyone here can provide a factual summary of what the investment case is and frankly nobody has provided one that's any stronger than chucking money at a roulette wheel. You totally ignore the utter stagnation of every product for literally years, the absence of even mildly realistic funds to make any progress, and the total disinterest from anyone in the pharma world, be it scientific or commercial, again for years. Even Satu used to go to conferences and exhibitions with at the very least the pretence of having something worth flogging, but now it seems that dead horse is in a dusty stable and not even getting a mild thrashing to report on.

But if you can convince me otherwise (with facts rather than insults, distractions or 'ifs') then go ahead.

PM seems to be grasping the basics at last - "Obviously, everything is conditional on the SP rising". Well done. However, the idea that someone buying at .85 is in profit to the tune of 100 percent or more seems a bit unfathomable when the sp is .75 to sell. Unless he studied at the Rachel Reeves school of delusional economics.

Porky - don't forget the 60 million that was sitting offshore just awaiting the nod to sort everything out - that was so nailed on I'm amazed it just vanished overnight, almost as if it had never existed. And nobody mentions the 5 million that Black Cat Bio were going to source years ago. How very odd.

To be fair, unless you have some inside knowledge, you don't have a clue either, but your post tries to imply that you do. So, do you? I'd say no. But with a company like this it's worth looking at past performance (raise, raise, raise, consolidate, raise, raise, raise, consolidate etc) to get an idea of what the future may hold.

Or do you actually KNOW something the rest of us don't?

That's much clearer PM. 'Riding with the momentum' - and there was me just thinking you were ramping the backside off this to sucker in money to reduce your losses as it slow inexorably down and down with nothing to show.

VAL201 Clinical Trial Full Data Results....

This is the bio equivalent of a car salesman sitting in a showroom with a rusty Austin Allegro which has been there for 30 years and thinking that because the Kia showroom next door is busy, there's bound to be a queue of punters in his showroom any minute.

A lot of use of the word 'if', and heavy reliance on future conditional tenses there PM.

Out of interest, has there been any actual laboratory work and development done on 201, 301 or 401 in the last four years or more, or have they just sat on a shelf? Because as far as I can find all the cash raised at Val has just been to pay salaries and admin costs. And bonuses of course. There doesn't seem to have been anything in relation to clinical trials involving patients and scientific progress. Is this correct?

You're really giving it your best shot PM, I'll grant you that. No peer reviews in over 4 years of silence on a drug so promising that the company hasn't spent a single penny on taking it further and nobody has shown any commercial interest at all. You can understand my reluctance to invest here can't you.

And what did the expected peer review papers say about the trial?

PM - just refresh my memory with what has happened with 201 since the inconclusive 12 patient safety trial results were published in November 2020 please.

Just doing a brief calculation - I remember when this share was around 1.2 to 1.4 p and I contemplated putting some money in, the board faithful offered the quote 'how much lower can it go?' with the attitude that it wouldn't. Then they did their most recent 125:1 consolidation, so I was glad I had listened to my reservations. But the last consolidation aside, had I put money in the day after the TheoremRX LOI RNS on 3rd November 2021 and hung on till now, I would need the share to go up over 54 fold as when the LOI was first broached (with payments expected by the end of 2021...) the sp was 38.25p. Two days earlier it was 52.25 but I'll be kind and not contemplate that. So to be fair, whatever you think of Porky9 I hardly think you can even consider he is 'talking it down to buy in cheaper.' The company has done that all on its own, which means anyone genuinely invested (as opposed to being a chancing day trader) has got such a mountain to climb just to get their initial stake back, never mind make a profit. As for those who put money in before even the last consolidation, try working out the multiplier needed for that one! I appreciate this new bloke has some of his own cash in here, but to be fair if you look at his salary as a return on his stake it's not a bad 'dividend.' If I was in a similar position I'd probably chance chucking some in if it made the company pay me for a bit longer.

If they're into fast tracking, why has it taken over three years to achieve nothing on a product that some claim is much-desired?

You know it's significantly good news when those who have spent so much time talking of the benefits of 'balanced' posting are curiously silent.

Bang on the mid price makes it impossible to say what it was, but dummy sells for bigger volumes than I have known for a very long time were getting a bid of 10.82 all the way through the afternoon. 'Whatever', as the yoof of today would say - it may be interesting to see if 'somebody knows something' (as we used to be told) or if 2025 is going to see some more positive action. I can't see anything happening in the half day remaining before New Year, but I'd be amused if it did.

Meanwhile I hope nobody invited any heroine addicts round in the days after Christmas because they get really upset when offered cold turkey.
