Took the money instead at 43.6p,
I think this will drop back, if it does I’m back in, the share has mileage........

Let’s hold the negatives and put out some positive thoughts that might justify the sp moving beyond 30p

Here’s a couple of thoughts for starters

Interim CFO - my bug bear- is a safe pair of hands with previous retail experience and will steady the ship until the right candidate is found.

All the bad news is out there and there are no more surprises

Vaccines will be administered in record time - Boris will provide details of his military operation later.

I don’t think they will go bust, especially since availability of vaccine and no-deal brexit avoided. They have £250m revolving credit facility and it would appear that banks have cut them some slack regarding reporting covenants. They also have valuable property assets some of which they are in the process of selling.

H1 tanked in line with most of the rest of the economy but they say Q3 car sales and after sales trading outperformed the UK market and was enhanced by improved margins and cost savings. They are divesting of poorly performing franchises and cutting costs. Sounds positive but I think the shares will tank once they start trading. Dilemma is whether or not to gamble on recovery.

I don’t like the news on CFO.
Interim appointment??

I was hopeful that this lot were getting their act together and delays were in part to allow new CFO to settle in and make their mark.
I’ve lost faith!

I like the the balance sheet majorboy but patience is needed.
Hard to call what will happen once the shares start to trade but 50-60p more likely by summer 21 if headwinds lift
Short term I’d take 30p but I suspect a drop before rising back to 25-30p. If it drops I’m buying.

Re pendragon, shares off low of 5p back in Spring and trading 13p - 14p range now.

I am positive on this one once the suspension is lifted. I like the strong property assets in the balance sheet and I see a strong trading outlook as vaccine is introduced. I think the share has been battered at 21p, I bought at 13p earlier in the year and will add should the sp dip post suspension.
I am not driven by loyalty or sentimentality, I see a chance to make a good return.
Time will tell :-)

Why bad news?

Firstly, they are getting the figures right.
Secondly they are considering their options - these guys aren’t fools despite the lack of communication.
Finally, trading update will be very positive .
