Yes, my pension is separate too. I never really think about it but I reckon I've paid in approx 15 - 20k into my ISA over the last 10 years. And it's worth 50k now. I'm doing better than my pension in percentage gains. I will add that although, I'm still in profit (just) with SAR, none of those gains have come from SAR. They owe me big time.

My Split is more like 50%. I've always been happy to hold SAR because of the potential but I have done much better investing 2k here and there and taking 10/20% profit. Realistically, I'll be working until I'm 60 (mortgage goes to 58). I'm 48 now and I'm hoping SAR gives me the opportunity to retire at 55 but that doesn't mean I'll wait that long before I put plan b into action.

I'd like someone to show me how they are held back. It's a classic AIM saying. The truth is there is not nearly enough volume to manipulate the SP either way. Its a fact that you lose less money if you don't hold shares on AIM. Very few stocks go up in a starght line so there are always opportunities to buy on good news. I'm sure SAR is on the watch list of many investors it's less risky for them to wait it out and buy in at a higher price. It's win win. SAR will move dramatically on news. Which way depends on the news.

I think, when posters are saying buyout they mean selling the rights to our compounds then winding the company up cos we've got nothing else to sell. That's the way I see it.

I think there are enough shares in PI hands plus the board to counter any real takeover. 2p wouldn't go though, 5p could happen, 10p definitely.

Also as we established last week. It would be unlikely that Tim and John would sell if it didn't at least cover their 150k a year salary for the next few years.

I want at least 10p now. 28p and I'd hand my notice in and spend the rest of the year refurbing my house. 5p would be a cheap sell off. CHK1 potential is worth that alone IMO. Tyk2 potential could be 4 x that but we'd need to wait. Sounds like people don't want to wait anymore. It's irrelevant anyway. We have to do what Tim and John do.

They'd still need money to cash out. 6 months cash might not be enough.

The truth is, nothing was going to happen until September and it's September tomorrow. Will there be an RNS on Monday? I don't believe there will but I wouldn't sell mine today, why risk the early price I got in at? The spike on the JORC will be short-lived and today might be the last chance to get in at a profit friendly price. It's as simple as that.

They expect to release in early Sept, not guarantee. That to me says there is a good chance it will come after the AGM. I will definitely spike a bit in the next few days, maybe even this afternoon. It is Sept tomorrow after all so Monday could be the day. Or it could not. Ha ha, that's why I love the trading aspect of AIM.

I think Thoths answer best fits the question I asked. If you are currently on 150k pa. You'd presumably want the same lifestyle to continue after selling up so, in that respect, us PI's should benefit from that scenario should it happen. I also agree with Thoth in that. If no deal is on the horizon then both Tim and John will still be getting paid 150k a year so it benefits them to drag that out as long as possible.

I honestly didn't think we'd need to place this year but I will accept it and i'll probably average down a bit on the drop but in terms of company development, we're just about to top out now. Tim, John and SAR need to start showing some value because I won't accept another placing next year.

Do us all a favour SAR, give us the value and if you can make it 28p. That would be a perfect outcome for everyone.

You know what I'd to know? What figure is in Tim's head. When he's down the pub with John. What figure (SP) do they talk about, what do they think think is achievable? 10p 20p a pound.

It's not not human nature. As Seale pointed out. At current cash burn we only have approx 7 months money left. We need a cash deal or a placing in the next month or so. They can't risk dropping to less than 6 months cash. Personally, for me, no news is good news. The longer it goes on, the more chance its a deal. Otherwise, why not just place now? Or when the sp was in the 0.9 regions only weeks ago.

Aye, the thing is. I'm in total agreement with you but I also think there is something in the director buy, change of advisor and all the other little clues. My guess is we are talking to people and they are currently doing due diligence. I think director buy was the start of that. So, my thinking is, will we need to place before they, whoever they are, come back to us? Of course, if candidate selection comes, that blows my theory out of the water and the placing is an unfortunate necessity either way.

I was thinking that but I think we'll get candidate selection before the placing. That will cause a little excitement, maybe even a 1p SP. Then they'll hit us with a 0.7 placing. That's what usually happens. I'm thinking I will sell into the rise then buy back at the placing price or below.

Agree, Ahfam. Candidate selection isn't that important either. It just means they've stopped tweaking and are ready to put it in the shop window. That's why the delay is weird. I don't think it's a deal, I think we'll find out they've been working with someone on the final tweaking. Hopefully the news will come with a grant or strategic investment.
