I'll tell what I think Afham - The option to call off funds that Sierra raised a couple of months ago says, to me at least, that we have a milestone coming and I think, all news flow and everything else hinges on this. The reason for the lack of news is because the milestone hasn't been confirmed yet. SAR can't release TYK2 and Aurora news because IMO, we need money from the milestone to fund the development. I honestly think it is as simple as that. There probably is an NDA (or several) in place but the director buy says this is still in its early stages. My guess is we've handed over data for due diligence and we now have to wait. That's why the market was deemed open and why Mrs Parker was allowed to buy. Still, think we are at least a year away from a big cashout but we could well see the SP double in the next month or so. More than happy to be wrong here but experience tells me not to believe the hype.

I'll start getting excited next Monday. If Sierra releases an update on the 10th we may get an RNS on Friday afternoon.

I'm not disappointed. I'm still on my holidays safe in the knowledge there won't be anything until the 10th. Not on the 10th but at some point (maybe months) after. Directors buy set this date. I see theres been a collective research done so we can bash the company when they don't deliver the goods. Hopefully the Sierra update will trigger a milestone, then we can release our candidate selection. Might be 3p by Christmas.

Is everyone still blaming Dave for the sp dropping again? Still find it bizarre that posters would rather shoot the messenger than admit they bought on a spike. It'll be back I the 3's without news.

In all seriousness. Assuming a deal similar to CHK1 was made, I really think they can't afford it and it would be too much of a financial burden for the shareholders to carry. They have already got a potential blockbuster that is going to cost hundreds of millions to get into the market. Why add to that financial burden?

JT - I hope Sierra can't afford us, even to license and I know they have over $300 million dollars available to call on. :-)

Searle CHK1, Yes, agreed, that's why it was a caveat. Some of that money that Sierra has on standby is absolutely for Sar (possibly to crystalise the milestones?) but i'm still of the thinking that some other ducks need to be lined up first. If there is an NDA, Sierra are as much a part of it as a n another party. Said it before, there are more than 2 players in this game. It will all become clear. I think due diligence has been completed. That's why we were back in an open market and Mrs Parket was allowed to buy.

You're better off thinking we are a year away from a big deal. If it comes early, bonus!! and IMO, missing the mid-year timescale for candidate selection is good news. It's too early in the game for something bad to happen so the delay has to be for improvements to the compounds or because a NDA is being observed. Again, IMO. The earliest we can hear something price sensitive s Aug 10th (Director buys). Caveats are milestones (unlikely) and candidate selection (unlikely to change the SP). I'm off to Cornwall for 10 days tomorrow so I'm more than happy for nothing to happen.

I remember reading posts, not here, I don't think but some other share site. There was one guy who knew nothing about shares, let alone bio and doing research. His mate told him about SAR. He put 5 grand in and cashed out with a 100k. It was a funny few days. I watched a personal 10 bagger shrink to a 3 bagger because I couldn't sell. Still thought I was Warren Buffet at the time though.

Like I said. I'd take 10p but I think we can get 400 mil for each TYK2. Cancer and autoimmune. Add chk1 in to the mix and we're at or passed Thoths 28p. We'd need to get everything into trials though.

Parker bought some last year too. With these and his wife's, he'd need approx 10.5p. Which would then net him 1.6mil profit. I'd take 10p but I think we can get 20 or more.

The Prostrate UK user blog is an interesting read. I know someone who's just had a cancerous prostate removed so, it's good to read this stuff. If he starts to feel good and the results are positive. Is he allowed to say in his blog?

Afham - I try not to fill in the gaps. Most of the time they are just that, gaps. We don't get regular news because bio is slow work. Again, others on here are getting impatient because of something they read on here. Go on what the company tells you. Not on what posters here tell you.

Personally, I'm not expecting anything until Aug 7th or later. 30 days after Mrs Parker buying. Any news to come before then won't be price sensitive. caveats to this are: Candidate selection is unlikely to move the SP and we don't know when Milestone payments are due so Mrs Parker buying could be pure coincidence. Definitely no deal before the 7th though.

2.5 million in total. Not an insignificant amount to buy. I hold the same amount!
