RE: New SP Angel research note7 Feb 2021 19:54
That was a good call @VanV, nice one.
I mean look they are doing some fantastic work to protect us from a deadly virus not to mention all the other testing areas from Cancer Tumours, new testing technology for foetal abnormalities within Maternity and other testing innovations that rarely get mentioned yet they do not like to shout about success, and they need to.
It is one heck of a business, as I keep ranting on, its exponential growth on a whole new scale but moreover a business built on solid foundations. It is profits now are exceeding that of ASOS the number one business on the AIM, yet our share price does not reflect this, and the business remains materially undervalued.
GM said to me recently to quote: -
“We are building the foundations for a significant diagnostics business by ensuring we deliver performance, create expectations that can be realised and not to ramp the business. I know many companies that may have a different philosophy but in my experience hype without substance will always end up in misery”.
“Can we improve communications? Yes, and we will do so in time but not without ensuring the business continues to deliver first”.
My conclusion from that was they are dedicated to delivering results FACT. They are conservative in projections to ensure they exceed them, and they are working flat out to deliver the business growth which is the priority. The forward statement on the RNS was badly worded and they have now actually confirmed the reality to both brokers which is a positive.
I made it clear that PR needs to improve. They have five sets of advisors working with them, but they must shout about success. He totally 100% got the message. He added: -
“Junior markets are sentiment led and despite fundamentals can react irrationally as we are seeing currently with the Share Price. IMO eventually sentiment will catch up with fundamentals. If they do not, then we can leverage these fundamentals in a different way to address the fickle nature of junior markets”.
Frankly, I know that PR is and will improve however, it does not help that the company deal with the regulatory and marketing aspects of its communication strategy whilst operating on two trading platforms in multiple languages with the added pressure of having to be compliant with both sets of authorities and therefore, I suggested a straight move to the Nasdaq and one language. I do not think this will happen, but it needs to imo.
As it stands, I am continuing to add as I can afford, and I stand by my SP targets. It is totally frustrating when you see the hype around other stocks and buying frenzy on “Potential”, yet we are actually “Delivering” but our time is about to come.
Shareholders will soon be rightly rewarded.
