It doesn't work like that, where negotiations are in play you have to work at that pace, it takes time. i would agree that for something material that could affect the SP the market must be officially updated via the Regulatory News Channel but this is a work in progress, Suzy has a window today to show investors and potential investors what progress they are making.

Personally, i believe that this is a new management team doing well, and i for one want to give her the opportunity to demonstrate that today, deals will come its market confidence she needs to secure, there were already some impatient sells yesterday and this morning that were just in and would sell on news anyway, what we need is shares moving to sticky hands that believe in the longer term viability of this business, only then we see sustained growth.

And of that means the upside from here is X14 to get to Sareum's position, i think its doable frankly but each to their own

Yes, i can't argue with you.
The market does indeed believe in Sareum and NOT in Valirx
And of course the Share Price reflects that, Sareum is almost 14 Times more expensive as a result
So what Suzy needs to do now going forward is prove that Valirx can be just as good if not better than Sareum

And its for this reason that i invest here, its an undervalued Biotech with significant upside. If she gets it right i'm looking at a multi bagger return from here.

To be fair if the asset was already fully priced i probably wouldn't be invested here, at this level i will take my chances.

Parking to one side that the Valirx stock has been previously oversold, volumes have been really low, historic sentiment to the business is poor but rebuilding and awareness in general to this Biotech practically non existent; the difference in valuations between the two similar biotech's is just staggering;

Both similar cash at bank positions, so that's not it, but the market Values are so Radically different, is positive sentiment towards Sareum making that much difference?: -

Valirx (VAL) – MCAP £ 18 m

Now I’m not posting this in anyway to discredit the great work of Sareum, it’s a terrific business and there are some differences However, is it really worth almost 13 times our value?

I mean come on; I think Sareum is fair value but the share price of Valirx is just on the floor by comparison.

It will be interesting how events unfold following todays presentation, obviously possible licensing of any project would be the game changer we need but, make no bones about this, Valirx should be at least in the 80p to £ 1 range pre licencing deals all day long imo.

Hopefully Suzy will today install some confidence as to why investors should back them and we can continue to build on the upward trend.

From purely an investment perspective this stock offers serious upside value from here as i see it. We just need to bring more attention to the business, we are un-noticed here, as interest builds so will the share price. I desperately want todays presentation to kick start renewed interest in this stock.

Without stating the obvious the Share Price is going one of two ways after today: -

NORTH – A positive presentation with confirmation business on track for its first license deal before end of Q1 2022.

SOUTH – A lack lustre performance that doesn’t tell us anything we don’t already know and doesn’t fill us with confidence the business can license anything anytime soon.

Any sniff of a pending deal and the SP is going rapid north

Zac Mir at Traders Cafe had initial target of 40p over the next couple of weeks. Obviously the key catalyst to a big SP rise is if Suzy is likely to secure ANY license deals, now that will give us a step change in the Share Price we need. But of course many have been waiting on this a while now. These things do take time and Covid delays didn't help.

VAL301 for example has been with a Japanese biotech group for 17 mths and we still await an update. I think many of us are hoping Suzy will update us on that one tomorrow.

They are going to the trouble of doing this Presentation so they must have something to talk about... time will tell anyhow.

The LSE website has become very buggy at times the last few months, periods of being off line, they need to fix that or put some more investment at the datacentre where its hosted.

Kind of goes back to what we were talking about regarding the company and PR needs to step up.

The SP is marked down but there is very little trading volume, its real thin hence why even small trades make a difference. They need to create new interest.

The comments about, if it was a couple of pence lower it could be a better buying in point, it's what you see on every board, even when a Share Price is on the floor like this one, someone always wants it a bit cheaper especially if they have sold at one price and want to buy back in lower.

The reality is that we sit here today at £17 m mcap, i mean for a Biotech of this standard as discussed we are not even close to peer average.

Hopefully tomorrows presentation will attract some new interest and we can continue our onward and upward journey.

At this rate its going to take years for our £11 shareholders to ever see a return, see what tomorrow brings

i really don't get why you feel the need to keep pushing this same article, fours times now, and today just before market open... hmmm, I already replied to you:-

There was something like 53 different cancer drugs licensed in 2020 and approaching similar number this year. There was something like 16 for breast Cancer. They all have different qualities in the fight to cure these awful diseases.

If AZ have one, they are working on that’s also great, the market is ginormous, we need as much support as possible.
In simplistic terms at the other end of the scale we have zillions of variations of Paracetamol being licensed and brought to the market every year.

I see it as a positive if AZ have one in trials then some of the other big pharma players may be more likely to license VAL201 to also have a product in trials they may be able to also take in this market.

look at the recent Covid vaccine market, there were about 10 players at the start of the race and we ended up with five worldwide was it?

Some on here really are trying to make 2 + 2 = 22

Firstly, despite some of the messages here I didn’t ask LSE to remove any posts, I genuinely did not, you can all post what you like.

Secondly, I made a call to reduce my exposure here due to certain events I did not like. I am not doing a Shaun and predicting certain doom, or de-ramping with my list of reasons. This share could well bounce high on news landing, and I really hope it does.

@Poidster, I respected your posts from a scientific background and disappointed that you now think my posts were BS. It is a fact that I owned over 125,000 shares and sold a chunk at a loss. You can disregard that if you like. In fact, one of my last purchases, I brought in at 4.20 I sold at 3.20

@BYP, you have been completely wrong, I have NEVER traded this stock. I am not paid by LSE. I am NOT the DB poster; whoever this is I grant you has a similar style to me but it’s a different person. You are victimising a genuine pro Novacyt poster. You need to pack it in.

I built a large position here, I have added to that position, up averaged and down averaged, I re-evaluated my position and asked myself IF my reasons for investing here were still the same after certain events. They were not and I wanted to reduce my exposure.

@Frankflush, I have NOT sold out and turned on anyone, I still own some stock here just not as much as I did. I have NOT posted any of my reasons for reducing my exposure as im not doing a shaun and turning Bear, I may well end up buying back in later as events unfold and David takes over.

Anyone else with PR and marketing experience that can add here might be better qualified to answer. My own thoughts are that PR now needs to be much higher on the company’s agenda than previously. They need to take it up a gear, their PR machine is NOT doing enough imo. The website is amazing, that was a brilliant start.

I did contact Suzy and suggest that after the presentation once the Q&As are uploaded and its syndicated around that she contacts someone like Paul Hill at VOX markets and have them interview her about the progress. It then introduces VAL to yet another investor audience.

Zac Mir at the Traders Café last week picked up on the stock in break out and he would no doubt link back to that sort of coverage for future updates. Again, we need more of this kind of interaction.

Likewise, the online share magazines and the mainstream media. There are numerous investor portals that could also cover this. The interview she did with Tom Froggatt got the brand name out, they just need to do more of it and more regular.

Shareholders don’t want to be left hanging just waiting for that one license deal RNS to land, they want regular updates and events to work towards, to talk about, that’s how I see it anyhow. New interest in what they are doing creates new shareholders.

If you google Valirx in google news, Zac Mir shows from the other week and little else, this tells us that the PR isn’t strong enough. The company needs to be talked about more to get noticed.

Also, we mustn’t lose sight of the fact that this is a female CEO in a business specialising in the development of treatments in cancer and women’s health to improve patient lives, this is big news in itself, it’s also a red-hot topic. Unless the company bangs the drug about how great they are no one else will. More must be done to get their name out there.

Finally, I’m not sure outsourcing PR is the right way to go, it might be worth them employing someone inhouse to help support. Anyhow, will add the question “what are their future plans for PR” to the portal for Q&A, maybe Suzy can expand on Tuesday.

At least I'm trying to bring attention to the company, they are currently under the radar they need and deserve to be talked about. They need to attract new investor interest and they have a lot for investors to be excited about.

Two VERY different stocks, one big difference is that here the company care about their shareholders at Nova the outgoing CEO communicated and was positive until his LTIP plan qualified his £7m bonus and after that point when He no longer had a vested interest in the SP doing well he couldn’t care less. I have reduced my position over there following a further update I am not happy about. I have significant research and reduced as a result. Any shareholder is entitled to change their portfolio positions if they no longer marry with their own original risk assessments - the position at Nova changed materially

THis is a totally different Aim stock with different challenges
