Its interesting to see on L2, its Friday afternoon, keep the Bid down to take stock in from traders and small deals wanting t close before the weekend a a small profit but split the ASK.
If you want any quantity you are talking 29p

Wouldn't be surprised if this closed 28-29p and opened 30p+ on Monday, anyhow whatever, early days will build in the run to the presentation imo next six months will be red hot here i think...

Indeed, lets face it investing is challenging enough no matter how much research you do!. Having the CEO supporting the shareholder community is essential, they should always appreciate shareholder support and never treat it as a given. GL

Indeed, we live in a get rich quick world and these things take time but even just the next six months here could well be exceptional. Get one or two licence deals over the line and what a difference that will make...

I think one of the most valuable thing in this company is having a CEO that is in touch with the investors and as far as i can see she is Honest which gives you a lot of confidence.

It's funny isn't really, it doesn't matter how low a market cap can go but when finally a recovery starts just a few pence move results in a big percentage uplift and investors then think, oh its gone up by 20% is it expensive, when in reality its 300% undervalued in the first place...

i think the run up to the presentation will see this materially move higher, we will see. long way to go yet.

Apologies if this sounds rampy: Can you just imagine if they secured a license deal out on VAL201 for prostate cancer and also secured a license deal for VAL301 in endometriosis with the Japanese pharmaceutical company, what a double that would be!!!! Now that is what i would call transformative....

I have just added my first four questions to the Q & A section for the Investor Meets presentation. Obviously will likely add others closer to the event.

Happy to add other Investor Questions IF anyone here wants to know something about the company but unable to make the actual event or able to get involved.

1. Obviously its key for shareholders that the company break the current never-ending cycle of raise, spend, raise spend historically continually eroding Shareholder value. Would you be able to confirm that the company has a clear focus now on attempting to get at least one product line licensed before yet another capital raise?

2. Regarding a licensing deal what do you envisage this might look like? Are we talking a cash consideration upfront plus a percentage ongoing royalty?

3. Your installed running cost is in the region of £ 800,000 a year. Do you see this remaining the same or significantly increasing should you secure a license deal? Obviously, shareholders would be delighted if you could expand the number of projects but only once you have at least one license deal secured to support expansion without a capital raise.

4. ICR analysis shows there have historically been more drug authorisations for blood and Breast Cancer which are quicker to license than for harder to treat cancers relating to the brain, oesophageal, bladder or the womb which typically take much longer. There was only one for liver cancer. Are you predominantly focusing attention on the seeking projects in the easier and quicker to license fields or do you have any plans to mix in some of the more challenging cancer fields?

Totally agree with you, New investor reach is absolutely essential.

I would actually recommend that once Suzy has completed the meet the company presentation and the Q&As are uploaded which is about a week or so later, this then gets syndicated, that she contacts someone like Paul Hill at Vox Markets:-

and then he interviews her on the premise of "You recently completed a really successful presentation to shareholders and you are doing some great things at Valirx, loads to talk about ..... tell us about that... blah blah" , and gets her to open up about the business since the management changes, what they are doing differently and some of the pipeline etc.

In other words, don't let it go cold, someone like Paul could not only introduce the business to the vox markets audience but its another chance to syndicate and he could follow up periodically to update. There are other platforms around but this sort of thing would be a great start i think....

I totally agree with you
I have completed my research. I had a few connected shareholders come to me and say Pork's be careful we lost x or y on this investment yada yada yada. The business had not been run that well and was in an never ending cycle of raise/spend/raise/spend/b@llocks to shareholders/raise some more. So i totally get that...

However, this is a totally new management team. Suzy Dilly is right on the ball, the business is transforming. yes of course a licenced deal of some kind would break the raise/spend cycle and i really believe that suzy is trying to secure that, i really am confident things are changing for the better. The investment return from here has fantastic potential.

The presentation at Meet the Company IF she gets it right will do wonders for the profile of this business. In the meantime, I really believe we need to create fresh interest and we can help with that.

I do hear you, a licencing deal will come, matter of time. See what Suzy says at the presentation but she is working her rocks off to make it happen... it will get better from here.

I will shut up now as i get accused of ramping being uber positive but, if you do your research here, its a great small biotech in a vital field and frankly I don't think you can go far wrong from here at this level. Its a £ 15m mcap..... err hellooooo

There are plenty of investors out there that could take a position here, they just need to be connected.

In my opinion: it’s a great company doing some great things and the share price is way out of line with the fundamentals which is something I specifically look for when investing. Nb. The like for like peer group average based on where they are without a license deal is £ 52.1m yet VAL sits tonight down at £ 15.6m; -

However, this is the AIM and sometimes there is no logic, some stocks do well, and they have nothing behind them, others are packed with value and still get clobbered. Nothing new.

The big issue that Suzy has as I see it is lack of awareness in the investor community. Nobody has heard of them. I came across VAL about six months ago and started researching. I follow S P Angel hence how I came across them originally.

With the recent broker appointment, I am hoping they will help bring awareness to the company. They have a vested interest in the SP climbing significantly north of 22p and I hope they do well. If they do well, we all will!!!

Suzy is a fantastic ambassador for this business. I really can’t sing her praises high enough. She is professional, courteous and has clear vision. So much so, I emailed her a few weeks back and she took the time to reply. She genuinely cares about her investor base which is refreshing frankly.

Finally, she is getting involved with the investor presentation and Q & A via meet the company. This means that the recording and subsequent answers will be uploaded and later syndicated around the investor community helping create yet further interest. We need that!!

My broker works on the dealing desk at HL
On smaller adds its just an electronic trade job as normal
Where its over the online limits i have to call, they then talk to the dealers they work with to try and work the trade. I was trying to get it a bit cheaper but the liquidity is not there. lots of smaller trades so i left it with them. Initially i was going to take 500,000 and in the end i said ok, if they can give me 650,000 at 24.5 i will do the deal.
Probably a little bit over but lets face it, they will either get a licence deal here or they wont.
At these levels its as cheap as chips with a deal but, likely to fall back if they cant get a deal and need a placing.

That being said, we do have a bit of an Insurance policy at 22p as VALs broker will earn FA if they cant get the SP materially higher. i worked out for them to earn £4m the SP had to be north of £ 1.22 was it.......
