Consider it de-risked
When the first wrong drill was set up in the wrong location and the project failed, as you know the SP and value of the business crashed from 30p to 6p. BUT IMO whilst not great, it wasn't a total disaster. We then knew the true composite of the ground and learnt from that so that was at least something that could be built and factored into the data going forward.
They have since gone into precise additional detail with the Quantitative Evaluation of Minerals by Scanning Electron Microscopy ("QEMSCAN") study on drill cuttings collected from the Tai-1/-1A wells at its Rukwa (100%) project area for further clarity and analysis of rock type.
Add to this the last year of surveys, 2d Seismic and the current ERT which are the icing on the cake ensure a much clearer picture. Now you could rightly argue that all that preparation should have been done the first time around and i would agree with that but it wasn't and we are where we are now.
The reality is the Helium is there and its looking like the right clay seals are there, in fact many. The last 2d Seismic confirmed many clay seals that trap the Helium and from the updates its looking like shallow drilling in the right locations is going to be the way forward. Now you probably know this already, so expert geologists and those with ERT survey experience ignore here but the survey data is bloody impressive stuff if you ask me. This is an ERT image example:-

ERT on the target sites identified will clarify the ground structure for Shallow Helium drills down to 200m at numerous points across the Rukwa basin - this again points to shallow drills for success imo.
So in my considered opinion, what i guess I'm getting at, is that is that this time around David is getting all his ducks in a row, frankly lining them up with precision this time, he is making sure everything is right and as such i consider the risk of failure much reduced here as a result.
Now don't get me wrong; I'm not saying its risk free, heck as i keep saying its an exploration penny share stock on the AIM, you want risk free you play FTSE 100, not AIM exploration but the rewards on getting it right, well you can't put into words can you, talking pounds per share not pence here but i really believe in David, everything is lining up superb and backing them by buying at 11-12p is certainly worth a shot IMO. Hell anything under 50p will look mighty cheap on a confirmation and that's why I'm adding as funds permit.
Confidence in the sector with the failure of ADV doesn't help. I do feel the HE1 SP is depressed further as a result of that and traders dipping in and out for little gains on what is a high risk reward play BUT they are VERY different plays, different businesses. Personally i never liked ADV, it's hard enough mining on land and shallow waters let alone trying to do it, was it something like in 35 metres deep
