Imagine the recurring revenues from the number of venues that could potentially offer it. It would become a differentiator for the business. Being able to guarantee a no worries Covid free night out. Depending on the costs you could imagine them used in a lot of places, not just the obvious high throughput places like airports and venues etc. Charge a bit extra on prices to cover it, or make it explicit and charge the customer to cover the consumables. Massive market and huge potential revenues.

Last week the health secretary and the govt’s health advisor both referenced a 10 min saliva test. It’s Awacta’s. They also said they’re aiming for testing the entire population twice a week - since reined back to twice a month. That’s about 130m tests per month and over 1.5Bn tests per year. That’s just one country. Sit back and relax and don’t fret at movements of pennies in the share price.

We’re currently waiting because our tests are in the hands of govt bodies putting them through their paces whilst we simultaneously arrange manufacturing and negotiate procurement. Hardly a bad spot to be in...

Covid sniffer dogs have been in the news and it’s known that they’ve smelled cancer. Could a breathalyser test for a broad range of illnesses become something that could be developed? It could become part of a regular healthcare routine and enable early detection that could be vital in some cases.

Interesting thought TL. Perhaps different ones for different coronaviruses all in one test.

That document is interesting, they presented the results against different groups of samples. That’s fantastic news as it will hopefully demonstrate that Awacta’s test is 100% sensitive in the important infectious period.
