VM, why is that then? Vaccines do not stop the spread. That’s a fact. The r value of the delta variant is estimated at above 5 possibly 8. Even with reduced spread thanks to vaccines, it will exponentially grow throughout the population, another fact. At that point , it’s a numbers game. The vaccines aren’t 100% effective, that’s a fact. So that equals an awful lot of hospitalised and dead people.
As for anti-vax, I had my second jab today, so **** you. I’m pro maths and the numbers speak for themselves. We need vaccines, but we also need a lot of testing to stop the spread, to stop mutations and to stop a summer wave and a bunch of dead people, seems reasonable to me.
